I join OW during the Uprising event. I fell in love with Genji and how if you were good enough you could carry games. Then Doomfist came out and he one punches Genji, then Moira and she can evade him, self heal, and is generally hard to hit due to skinny hitbox. Now Brigitte and she counters him as well. I start to really not enjoy playing when things that require high skill are outdone easily. It removes fun and deincentives trying to improve at flankers.

Dive/Flank had no counter. These heroes are main to stop that.

You’ll get very little sympathy here. I enjoy the fact there are more heroes out who can challenge flankers like Genji.
Ignoring the fact that Doomfist is a laughable counter to Genji.

Chance of Doomfist hitting a genji now is so abysmally low that - the only way that can happen is if Genji is stuck in Junkrats trap or stunned or AFK.

Yeah Doomfist isn’t really a counter now but he could easily kill him when he first launched. I think in a 1v1 the harder thing to do if done correctly should be the most effective. Mostly talking about Moira. Diving supports is supposed to be a hard thing to do. Not Impossible with easy counters.
You pretty much said it, Genji can carry games. While that’s great for you, is it really good for the game?
The impression I get is they cannot figure out how to lesser his power, or Tracers for that matter, without truly trashing him and instead are going the route of making his opposition stronger.

Genji needs a flyman skin for Halloween. All these new heroes are new ways to squish the fly.
But ya, the new heroes are needed to hit Dive cause Dive is a bet uncontested. Luckily for Tracer, most of this hits her less than Genji. She still will likely run around mostly uncontested.
New heroes really don’t destroy Genji easily. It just requires the Genji player to think more carefully going into engagements now that more healers can stand up for themselves more consistently, and not roll over and die against Genji.
The game is meant to be about being able to switch to deal with counters, and for a lot of the game, there WAS counters people can switch to.
Except for the supports, they were all counted by the same heroes. If you were countered by a Genji / Tracer / Sombra as a support, there was no where to go. No matter which support you switched to, you were still countered.
This is filling in that gap. It is all happening at once, so, it would feel pretty bad. On the other hand, having no where to go to as a support when you were being flanked ALSO felt pretty bad.
If they are running a Brigitte and a Moira, you may want to switch off high mobility flankers.
But that is by design.

Yes in a 1v1 a moderate Genji vs a Moderate support the Genji wins, but Comp isn’t a 1v1 if you try to dive backline then the D.va or others comeback and help them, that’s why I don’t think he needs more huge hard counters.
It’s Blizzard’s way of giving us legitimate counterplay to Genji and Tracer. It’s either this or nerf Genji more or nerf Tracer. As a Tracer main, I rather take more counterplay from other heroes like Moira and Brig.
There should always be a counter to everything. This was not the case when it came to Tracer/Genji. They had no natural counters, only skill checks. Blizzard is remedying this error, slowly.

What heroes do you suggest I switch to if I start getting countered by Brigitte, Moira, etc. What would work better. I quite like Hanzo, Mcree, and Soldier.
