Why didn't we try 2CP

I’m just curious as to why we didn’t even try keeping 2 CP now that the game feels completely different. 1 less tank makes the chokes of 2CP maps way more bearable and the smaller team size makes pote rial coordination way easier I would be interested in an experimental card that is just a play test of 2CP with OW2’s game feel. I know a lot of people hated 2CP and that’s probably why they didn’t even try it out but honestly I’d rather play ant 2CP map than Colloseo.

I’m definitely one of those players that DESPISED 2CP, and it was specifically because when you are capping the last point, the strat becomes “who can get out of spawn the longest and STALL” which thankfully isnt as much of a problem in Push.

Now that being said, I am quite bummed all of the 2CP maps weren’t remade into Push/Payload/Hybrid maps, even if it was the same direction.

Probably not enough time for them to do that. Management not hiring enough, big surprise.

I wouldn´t care if it was on quickplay or anything like that, but i don´t want to play ranked on Volskaya/Hanamura never again

To be fair they could have easily predicted that PvE + PvP would take a heck of a lot longer to release than they had planned and could have put more resources into PvP and then into PvE later down the line, but understandable

They said in the ramattra interview that the team is now 3x times bigger, let´s have some hope
