I do think D.Mon has named her that to match her own nickname, since Michael Chu said that she is her “older sister”/“mentor”.
It’s her persona. D.va is the best way to represent a pro gaming Diva imho.
I wonder if they’ll go more into her background one day. We have her story, now reinforced with her actual personality, but theres still a lot we dont know about her.
