Before Heroes of the Storm was put into maintenance mode, it seemed like every Blizzard game would have awesome cross game promotions fairly often. Card backs in Hearthstone. Mounts in WoW. Heroes of course in HoTS. Skins and sprays in OW.
Seems like a lot of that has basically stopped. There is so much room for Warcraft and Starcraft skins in OW and it seems like such an easy way to make some money.
Gimme a Lurker Venture skin!
Perhaps their market analysts told them it was a waste of time. Or maybe they are inept.
Because this game is one more bad season away from going on maintenance mode.

I got a new mount in WoW for playing HS last week. And it’s a new one.
They always do the double dipping around blizz-con.
And in WoW, you can play Plunderstorm to get rewards in classic WoW.
They are still bird feeding, just not for OW.
(OW is the one part of Blizz not making money recently, they get no bonuses this year. Might be related.)
