Why can't PC users have aim assist?

because pc players are using a mouse, which is inherently better for aiming than a controller.

do not be silly and use incoherent hypotheticals

controllers are difficult to aim with because they cannot be nearly as pinpoint as a mouse can

if you’re bad with a mouse get better

Or just use a controller apperently. Controllers, where it’s ok if you can’t aim as assist got you covered.

Console users can use the mouse too. There is hardware that allows exactly that.

why are you crying about controller aim assist when it will only affect you in modes where the outcome doesn’t matter?

The real problem is if a console player is using a xim, then they get mouse controllers AND aim assist which is the real problem

Because I don’t want to be forced to deal with aim bots unless I’m playing comp.

yes, they are pretty much cheaters, and dominate console t500.

that’s not really how it works. also half the heroes in this game would be literally near unplayable without aim assist, and pc players still have an advantage over console players with aim assist.

guess what, you’re dealing with aimbots that are literally still worse at aiming unless they’re better players

No they do not, only xim users, which is cheating because they get the benefit of M+K with aim assist.

If one is cheating with a mouse than it’s literal mental gymnastics to say it’s not with a controller.

the aim assist is given to you when playing on console. mouses on console aren’t meant to be used, it uses 3rd party software. you can’t just plug in a mouse

Sounds like somebody is afraid of being outranked by a controller-user. I doubt aim assist would even be an issue above platinum, so I don’t understand what you are complaining about.

yes, because you aren’t meant to, by design, use a mouse for this on console. mouse for console overwatch isn’t supported. therefore, by using 3rd party software and a mouse, you are gaining an unintentional advantage that isn’t meant to happen. this really isn’t a difficult concept

I’m not as you see aim assist isn’t allowed in comp. And the reason why is simple, the game would lose ALL competitive integrity if it did that. As opposed to currently where it’s just some.
