I’ve never understood this. why during a game can we only highlight 3 moments? what if I pull off more than 3 amazing players?

They assume you will be converting the ones that you like into videos in the moment you get them. The game is not very reliable at saving stuff especially when everything is wiped after a patch.

I think he means the limitation to 3x f9 highlight savings during 1 match.
If you are on pc with a Nvidia gtx 700 or newer you can utilize shadowplay to record up to 20min from the past till now. (or setting it to as low as i think 30sec)
I think amd has something similar?
If on console, I’m not from that plattform so no clue what you can do.
But i see your point. If you did it 3x and then did like a 6k…

You probably already know but if your 3 slots are full you can replay your match and record your highlight with free screen recording software like OBS (https://obsproject.com/)

yeah i know but i kinda see that as an inconvenience and personally, I like how everything is in one place under one name. and not one clip is feom highlights and the other is from obs etcetc
Xbox records in the background and you can grab as many clips from 15 seconds in length to 5 minutes long as you like. Dunno about Playstation. Think Nintendo just has no recording feature at all, but not certain.
Also, anyone on a Windows 10 PC can use the Xbox Gamebar to record game play. It also records in the background and you just press alt+window+G to instantly record the last x minutes of gameplay.

Glad to hear xbox is stepping up its game.
Probably a feature in the new consoles, they’re litteraly pc’s with decent hw.
