yeah, it’s not even like blizz sees an effort to keep the skill floor as low as possible.
Several reasons.
First, she is HUGE! I mean that in that her hitboxes are massive! It’s really hard not to miss her.
Secondly they really need to make her model work which is the gatling gun arm obviously attached to her arm. Hard to do that without making her busted. This is also why she won’t get mobility due to that weapon.
They also need to fit in her lore of how she can withstand Doomfist of all heros. Which is where all her defensives come into play.
So you can see why they want her to work but at the same time she is a bullet magnet in practice.
Orisa has the issue of being lore strong, but having a lot of apparent gameplay weaknesses. So they keep buffing her til she can perform as the OW universe wants her to be. Which is…well to be almost completely bullet immune…which is very impractical in gameplay.
outside of fortify orisa is pretty soft actually i eat orisa for breakfast with ashe.
Oris-O’s part of a balanced dps breakfast! Buy yours today!
I feel like there is a glaring issue when the only way to beat a certain hero is to ACTIVELY ignore them and go for the people keeping her up, because otherwise she’ll never die from how idiotic her defensive abilities are.
so is that why I see yolo reins charging into 1v5 with 10% health?
Rien is the worst brawl tank in the game though?
And he is also a melee only hero…
I hate the way orisa is designed. Running into hero as tank feels like complete crap
Not even close to as easy if that’s what you’re insinuating
Everything in OW is a button click, that to describe… you have to say and and and and and and and and and and.
It’s like when Cartman was playing ninja’s and needed 47832649 powers… but now they have control over a games future.
The other one is a walmart dva matrix that also gives her movement speed and the ability to bully any hero.
That’s why you don’t shoot the horse.
In fact she has so many weaknesses. If the highround is taken against her, she and her team will tremble in a matter of seconds. She can’t clear high grounds, and even after rotating cooldowns, she will still be easy to kill. And her ultimate is one of the easiest to dodge and so predictable.
Also, she is the tank with the lowest carry potential because she is just a disabler. She will disable some enemy tanks, and make it 4v4, so the game is on luck which is terrible. And her damage numbers are big, but this is because of her long uptime in the fight. And she has a massive 2 second reload and her damage falloff is very bad for her.
She has the reputation of an unkillable, but she has so many weaknesses in fact.
The problem with Orisa is they keep buffing her tankiness, which is quite literally the last area of her kit that needs any form of help.
Orisa really struggles with being a threatening presence. If you want to counter Orisa, just ignore her and you win… You’re not killing her if her supports even sneeze in her direction and she does no meaningful damage that you just ignore her and her team dies.
Blizzard being Blizzard is just incredibly tone deaf and doesn’t understand any of their heroes, apparently, and think her tankiness is the problem, I guess.
I play Rein, and I agree most Rein players are stupid. Always saddens me when I see the enemy Rein swap off because they can’t be bothered trying to be better than me.
