222 was unsustainable only because of the crazy amounts of CC in the game.
Because they’re trying to make you stick around by giving you something to look forward to.
We’ll never know now, but I doubt lowering the amount of CC would fill up those tank slots to any significant degree. And it’s not uncommon for tanks to bring along some CC of their own. Even if they only have one stun between the two of them, the idea of tanking into a boopfest like Ball + Doom sounds like hell to me. Or Origma 2 that would have rock, spin and javelin. Ugh.
Match quality has fallen through the floor, and they can’t seem to raise it because of queue times becoming too long. That’s a failure in my book.
If they manage to turn it around somehow then I’ll change my opinion, but until then…
Mixture of incompetence (for this, I’m looking at Roadhog since 9 months for that is crazy) but also just outdated bureaucratic internal systems slowing literally everything down by around 2-3 months.
They steal so much money over the past year and nothing actually improved, it is astounding just how well their scam was successfully orchestrated.
