I know it’s off-OW topic. But I’m genuinely wonder why people are even arriving at the thought of being able to hard carry much more easily in VALORANT than OW.
FROM a competitive stand point you would be versing against others players who could potentially 1v5 once you arrive at a certain bracket. Ands it’s not like you 1v5 and win the game. You would have to do it for 15 consecutive times fragging out and hard carrying.
And it’s not like CSgo where you can just clutch it out by pushing and clicking heads. The enemy team can synergize abilities and just stall it out. People WILL learn how to use teamwork since that’s been the basis of team PvP since the beginning of human games made of groups versing each other.
Edit : there can only be so many Kobe Bryant , Michael Jordans, Ronaldo’s, or Tom Brady’s
they’re just scrubs who are tilted that they’re not as good at OW as they think they are and are using it as another reason to declare the death of OW and the rise of (insert flavor of the month game here)
IN R6 six you can have bad teammates who make bad plays, but games are best of 6 then best of 9… Valorant is Best of 29 which affects fluidity. Steam rolling for 15 consecutive rounds is hard since 1 loss can change game mentality/performance.
In siege if you steam roll 3-0 then switch side its hard to comeback knowing your team got annihilated.
IN OW if you get rolled on assualt, the team mentality fades…
ITs more of a psychological battle then anything else, when you are getting 1v5’d or your team is actually NOT playing OW, but the enemy team is ( that being a TEAM game)
