she literally makes more than half the roster in the entire game unviable. i dont see any reason to like or even remotely enjoy having her in the game. if you support that fact then you obviously enjoy unbalanced gameplay.

We defend her because people like you make incorrect statments like this. Then, you respond to people who provide actual evidence and the in-game numerical values showing you exactly why she’s not overpowered with “Nuh uh you’re wrong,” or “But she’s not fun to play against.” Those two statements are not valid arguments and are nothing but subjective opinion with nothing factual to back them up.
It’s like this right here. You actually haven’t provided any sort of facts. You’re simply claiming that a subjective opinion is fact.

Because she’s like Pharah where she counters a lot of people however gets screwed very hard by a couple certain heroes, one of which happens to be Pharah .-.
Because you can just copy-past rant templates for most threads in these forums and replace with your hero of choice.
X hero does not require enough skill to be as effective as they are, X hero is not fun to play against, X hero has ruined the game due to been OP, X hero is no where near balanced etc etc.

Not here to defend or condemn Brig, but this statement is just flat out wrong, and I’ll tell you why. Whether or not a Hero feels okay to play with, as, or against is a VERY important factor in game design, regardless of winrates or balance. Imagine that Blizzard made a hero that, say, upon landing a killing blow with one of their abilities, increased your respawn time by 15 seconds. Is it possible that this could be “balanced”? Of course it is, especially if the numbers were tweaked properly. But would it be a good idea for the game, or fun to play against? Hell no.
It would be a bad design solely because of the experience it creates for the players. So when people voice their frustrations about their game experience, it cannot automatically be written off as subjective and irrelevant. Music is subjective too, but would you enjoy Overwatch more if all the game music was replaced with smooth jazz?
