Since the diva meta being an ana main i took a big hit from almost being diamond.
That’s fine, i’ll switch it up and start to learn mercy now. She is very simple to play and pretty easy to heal with compared to others healers…
but the problem is DPS in bronze if they aren’t smurfs are just not good. No solid hitscan players, no solid snipers its all junkrats and pharas.
I’ve now gone from 2600 to 1300 this season trying to heal people who don’t really know how to play DPS well or don’t play around things like bastions or mei’s or dual snipers.
Well I wonder why they aren’t very good but I must ask how did you drop from plat to bronze? Even if you took a hit hero wise surely you had some mechanical skill since if anything the max you’d drop would probably normally be to high silver
The lowest ranked level will have the least impactful attack players, this is to be expected. If you’re having a real hard time and you yourself have decent aim and game sense then give Moira a spin. She eats up flankers and supports if they aren’t playing together with their team.
“If i pick a skill hero it will give me an advantage over non skill heroes, because that makes sense for some reason”, then they dont have skill, the end.
It’s time to work out, carry you’re team to victory. It’s time to be the healer/dps/tank that your team needs.
Obviously you’ll need a healer and mercy is the most consistent and survivable. But if your team can’t get kills, what’s the point. Pick up a brig, Moira, zen, or Lucio where you can pick up the dps slack (and tank slack with brig).
You’re not going to get peeling probably so you’ll need to keep yourself alive, your team alive, and kill the enemy players.
Zen is the less survivable of those but if you’re confident with your aim, he’ll be very useful. Lucio can stall the point and juggle a 5dps team. Moira would be better if you have a tank, but she’ll be able to add to the damage. Brig will obviously fill the healer/tank slot and try to keep the front line.
