Was actually looking to make a small PC when a friend of mine gave me the idea to just play on my ps4 (EWWWWWWW)
Anyway, my friend said some games can use mouse and keyboard, but on my journey through the internet, mouse and keyboard is not supported. Some even consider it cheating.
This has me a little confused because on PC you CAN play with a controller. If using mouse and keyboard on console is “cheating” then how is using a controller on PC, say in a comp game not considered “throwing” because of the disadvantage?
Edit: Ok maybe throwing is not the right word but would most of us agree that using a controller on pc would put most people at a disadvantage?
If using mouse and keyboard on console would give you and advantage and a controller on PC would give you a disadvantage why would they not lock that down? If the game was trying to promote fair play on all platforms why not set up a system where you can only use mouse and keyboard in comp matches for pc and vise versa.
cause playing with a controller gimps you so hard that using PC parts gives you a considerable advantage

Mouse and Keyboard on console would be considered “cheating” to some because mouse and keyboard gives an advantage with a platform where everyone uses inferior control methods.
Controller can still be considered throwing on PC, it’s allowed and no one cares if you use one because it doesn’t give you an advantage and it only benefits those who prefer controllers.

No, it doesn’t because throwing isn’t allowed.
There are mouse and keyboard adapters for xbox but idk if there is a max yawspeed that would mess it up or not

i dont think its throwing becuz some people are better in controller then the ones using mnk if you good it doesnt madder with one you use…and lets say he just moved to pc and its hard on mnk and he or she gets tired of losing and people talking sh#t to him then he goes and plugs a controller then destroys them for talking sh#t.then what you have to say …not saying thats everyone.
Some people would consider it throwing, but it’s primarily there as an accessibility option. Some people enjoy controllers, and other players need them to make use of the game.
Being more inclusive is a good thing, imo. 
Well some people cannot play with a M&K because of disabilities. So part of the reason is accessibility. Also I believe their was someone who reached Top 500 or maybe GM on PC with a controller.
