7/10 maps I play are control maps. my least favourite
I don’t think that’s the case, you feel like it is because it’s your least favorite game mode.
I don’t like 2CP and it feels like I get it the most, but it comes equally often as other modes.

That’s just unlucky, but it can happen. If you roll a dice, it happens that you roll the 1, 3 times in a row.

I used to track the maps I played, but that excel file has long since been lost to the void. In comp it was generally 1:1:1:1. with a little unevenness due to randomness.
In QP there was definitely way more 2cap due to backfills, about 2:1:1:1; I didn’t count ones where I backfilled with less than 3m on the clock so there were actually even more.

It’s unlikely but not any more unlikely than any other sequence of maps. Playing 3 2Cap or 1 2Cap 1 KOTH 1 Hybrid is just as likely
Control makes 5 of the 21 base game maps, 1/4(ish) chances x 3 is unlikely but not so unlikely it points to a bias or conspiracy to make you play more KOTH
My favorite is KINGS ROW, but never seam to get it MUCH.
The most common one I get is “DEFEND” and CP maps such as NEPAL, Oasis and Volskaya.
The reason why we get the maps we dont want is because everyone kept begging the DEVS for “Heroes” instead of MAPS.

Funny I feel the same way about 2CP.
This is why we need a map vote system. So tired of Paris, HLC, and Illos being my majority for maps
