Why are alt accounts allowed ? (genuine question)

The vast majority of people who use alt accounts just want to roll over the enemy team by not having to play where they belong. Your “arguments” have not convinced me otherwise, at all.

That’s not an alt account, that’s a smurf, which has been said to you multiple times now, but you don’t seem to be understanding.

And alt accounts are good for practicing heroes that you aren’t good with, without tanking your MMR.

But there is no “repercussion” for you not playing well enough in QP, is there ?

You have MMR in quickplay also, you just can’t see it.

Now, maybe you’re right. Maybe QP can only get you so far, and only ranked can really make you test it.

And this also. Most players aren’t trying very hard to win QP games. Or at the least, not as hard as they would be if it was comp.
