Why does it only pair me with gold+ all the way upto GM… it never goes the other way, i never come up agains bronze… but i come up agains Masters Constantly at Gold.

Its probably QP. I do mostly masters-GM QP myself.
For some reason, during the weekends, I get atleast 50% of my games with plats in them. Its really weird.
I almost 100% believe that they break the QP match maker on weekends, holidays or something changes when more people are queueing at the same time.
Are you a support main?
Because this happens to me all the time when I play support. I mean, it’s FARRRR more common for me to be the highest ranked player on my team. Or put another way, if there’s anyone in the entire match of higher rank than me, they are always on the enemy team. I cannot remember the last time I had Masters or GMs on my side, but they are on enemy side all the time (currently upper Diamond).
Sure, it can be said that it’s fair if both teams have 1 Plat and 4 Diamonds, but it’s not fair when the Plat is not mirrored in role. This kind of mismatch is how stomps are formed.
Here is a fantastic example, though in QP. It was rare that 8/10 profiles were open. This is what I found, and yes, my side got absolutely annhiliated.

Comp, its pretty much every day im playing Between GM-Diamond.
Why doesnt it go the other way and put me a gains bronze/silver?
