Why am I playing against 3-6 stacks in solo queue?

Stacks greater than two should not be allowed in solo queue. Half the time they’re extremely toxic and won’t work with the team, and they have an unfair advantage over the enemy team if they’re all solo queuing. Why can’t stacks play against or with other stacks? Completely unfair. Also, most of the time the stack is built around one or two carries. The solo queued team most of the time does not have the advantage of pre-assembled game plans, peel, or the type of teamwork a large stack would have. Please, dammit, fix this. It really sucks.

Are you being grouped up with people in groups? I usually only get a 6-stack on the other side if I’m paired up with a 5-stack and one time that I can remember that was me, another solo, and a 4-stack. It shouldn’t happen super frequently though I only have my experiences to go off of. In a typical evening of solo queue (we’re talking about comp, right? because QP obeys no rules in matchmaking) I’ll see primarily other singles and a few duos with 4 singles. I’ll get maybe 2 matches with stacks on the teams, usually only 1.

Yeah, I’m solo queuing for comp (not grouped up with anyone; playing by myself), and there are 5 and 6 stacks on the enemy team. Just last match I had one duo stack on my team (I was soloing), and the enemy team had a 5 stack. They were all gold with two high plat dps. They pocketed the shiz out of the dps, and my team was barely able to coordinate to stop them.

Also, I don’t want stacks on my team when I’m soloing. They’re usually toxic, and stay out of voice chat only coordinating with each other. And 5/10 they’re smurfs. For whatever reason it’s usually the 3 stacks, I have no idea why.

I don’t mind if the enemy team plays really well and coordinates better than my team, just as long as they’re not fricking stacked. They had the advantage over my team the moment they queued up together. And you know how it is, half the time solo queue teams don’t even use mics. :C

I disagree so much with this because it then creates problems when there are 5 stacks as you need a solo q to fill it.

It’s frustrating sure, but most of the time you yourself will have groups stacked on your team. And if not, you should still be able to work together to beat a x stack on another team. They’re not impossible to defeat. And if your team doesn’t work together that’s not the problem of “I was put against a 5 stack that’s why we lost” it becomes “my team refused to work together and therefore put us at a disadvantage”
