I play this game on my main atleast 3.3k-3.4k for reference.
I am playing on an alt that I usually play with my friends who are lower ranked and trying to teach them the game. So now that I don’t talk to them anymore I thought I would get it up to diamond from 2.5k. I have been on a 10 win-streak on DPS and seem to be only getting 20-22SR considering I am top fragging with little deaths and playing at a much higher level than this.
I don’t believe I am playing at this level’s average, I am sure I am not?
I thought if you belong at a rank you will get there quickly? because the system realises you belong higher?
Would anyone else like to comment who knows much more about the SR system than I do?

I don’t know the answer but it’s pretty frustrating to hear this as someone in plat that is seeing an awful lot of smurfs.
I’m getting around the same SR that you are reporting however I would expect someone 1000SR away from where they belong to be getting a heck of a lot more SR per win than me.
This just proves Blizzard are doing nothing about smurfs.

there is so many alt acc users from higher elos that pbsr is almost gone lol.
I can definitely say that pbsr had higher numbers months or year ago.
Its more easy to climb as tank or support.
I know dude, I don’t like smurfs either. I was never intentionally trying to ruin anyones games here when playing with friends ect, but I never really played the heroes I was good at, but learned new ones on the way.
and I do agree that they need to work on their SR gains, especially when a Genji player has a near 90% winrate
My problem is more with Blizzard than the actual smurfs. Espcecially if you aren’t throwing. It sucks but Blzzard are the ones handing out ranks and SR.
I can get behind the alt and smurf accounts have skewed the ranks stats.
Smurfs put up very high and very low numbers then the mm goes ok these are my top and bottom numbers for the average.
