Why am I In Queue to play OW2 on a random day in S3?

It’s been in Queue for 10 mins. Started at 900 players ahead of me.

I just got disconnected. Now I have 3000 players in front of me. It seems that Blizzard cleared out all their servers and put everyone back into the login queue.
