Why all roles hate eachother

DPS: Frustrated with tanks for not creating space.
Tank: Frustrated with supports for not staying alive.
Support: Frustrated with DPS for not securing eliminations.

i think you have to have each role be frustrated with the other two roles at the same time not just one role being mad at only one role lol

so its basically …

DPS: Frustrated with tanks for not creating space. Frustrated with supports for not staying alive.

Tank: Frustrated with supports for not staying alive. Frustrated with DPS for not securing eliminations.

Support: Frustrated with tanks for not creating space. Frustrated with DPS for not securing eliminations.

Abilities are one of the things that make the game fun to play

And the best choice is a hero who ruins ability use

Overwatch is cooked

It’s a love/hate relationship. I sometimes resent my teammates, but if I didn’t have that pressure to perform, I wouldn’t care enough to try. It’s a team game.

i guess we forgot about Reaper :pensive:

All roles need to focus on themselves. Actually finally would get somewhere positive in this game.

Team dependence.

The same thing applies for counters. Ppl who main X usually hate any of their counters.

Mainly from the frustration of having my ride or die tank buddy being replaced by two DPS that have prey instincts.

because the game, when not providing us with the goodness, feels very bad and frustrating, and has been for a long time because of what it has become. The tank could be hell off position doing god knows what in the perspective of the support, but in the perspective of the Tank, he’s trying to create space and his team is lingering behind him doing whaever. Or you could feel like your supports are absolute braindead worms trained by CIA to specifically enrage you because they never ever heal you no matter what, but in the perspective of the support, he’s dumping all his resources onto your tank because the time both supports look away he’s dead. All of this because the game is, overall, very, very punishing. Imagine that: You’re playing Zenny, you show up into the team fight, a Tracer harrass you for 20 consecutive seconds and then you die. You have to walk very slowly from the spawn. Then you get headshot by a Hanzo. Yet again, walking slowly. Then you get solo-shattered by the Rein. At this point you want to commit a crime. Many people end up venting their frustration on the team, “Why is this [fellow citizen] playing [unpleasant] sombra do something you [big silly] tracer wont let me do anything”

I just get frustrated when my teammates 1v5 (which makes ALL of those things happen for each respective role)

Frustration =/= hate

Frustration and hate share a common thread of discontentment and negative emotions.

Still not the same. At least not for me.

DPS: Hate all resistance, Tanks for blocking hits, supports for healing progress.
Tank: Hate dps that can’t give support fire, Supports that suck at healing.
Supports: Hate timid tanks, that won’t push, dps that never peel for the backline.

So we’re in agreement, everyone hates each other.

I just hate players who don’t try.

Its very obvious when players aren’t.

Just had conversations of allowing throwing menatlities and letting players ignore their roles completely for “alternative playstyles” which feels so different then the W bound tank or the INTing dps trying to 1v5. Or the support player who is literally a dps in disguise think they can abuse a bloated role to climb.

Its coming up to the point where I feel ashamed to even share that I play this game because the reactions from non OW players gets ridiculous if I ever utter that statement.

To be fair, the person I usually hate most on my team is the other support.

I used to think like this.

Now after thousands of hours I just don’t give a f#@%.

I think,

“Am I getting value on this hero that I am playing?”

And

“Am I applying this heroes skill set properly?” Or “How should I be playing this hero?”

If my teammates fail. They fail.

I can’t carry them unless I’m smurfing. So I’m not gonna get stressed over an idiot Doomfist playing into 5 counters and doing nothing. I will try to do my job as best I can given the circumstances.
