So we’ve been through Brigitte and through Hanzo. And now it seems like Widow’s the one getting hate. I wonder who comes after her?

i dont understand why people hate widow shes simply pure skill its you hit shots or you dont which depends on how much value you have

Because High Skill = High Reward is a bad thing apparently. Same thing with Tracer.

Broken heroes are broken regardless of how much skill they require. I didn’t hear OWL players (where the best Tracers are) trying to justify her absurd power level.

Widowmaker is no exception either.

Yea because it’s Widows fault for the sudden meta shift. Shes in her current state since quite some time and nobody complained while Genji, Tracer, Winston, D.Va and all the other hard-/softcounters were viable. Tracer wasn’t broken, as you can see now, she just had no counters. A nerf was and still is unnecessary, same goes for Widow. You all cried around in the forums for ages about dive being as dominant as it is. Now that it’s gone and with it everything that held Widow back, she shines for once. Being a highly viable pick and being strong in the current meta =/= broken.

She’s broken in high level play tho, doesn’t matter if she takes skill or not. The hook buff was a mistake IMO just makes her much harder to dive.

I doubt it’ll be Hammond… actually one of the least infuriating heroes to fight against, and he doesn’t seem like he’ll impact the meta that much imo. It’ll be Doomfist because nobody likes fighting him, much like Widow.

Mercy will still be one of the top targets. Maybe Hammond if he really pushes the dive triple tank meta. Mcree is a possible candidate.

Doomfist or Wrecking Ball ( Hammond ) has the best chance to be the next #1 Hate Hero. Doomfist because a good Doomfist can be annoying to fight against and ppl hate 1 shot abilitys. Hammond because he is new so whiners didnt want to learn to counter him and alot players hate CC

Oh no wanting an actaully interesting META to watch how evil. Plus this isn’t even my comp account real account is in high plat. Fact is that Tracer and Genji take more skill than smurfette looking like she came out of an adult movie set.

Neither you nor I experienced anything like OWL plays. Stop using “But in GM and OWL blah blah blah” as an argument.

Are you correct? Yes. Widow is broken at high level play. Any specific reason? Because she has an infinite skill ceiling. So does Tracer. There has to be a way to reward people who devote hours of practice with high rewarding heroes.

And no, Widow’s skill floor is much, much higher than Genji and Tracer.

Probably Reaper, even though he is and always will be garbage, and the reason for it is because one Reaper managed to pull off the fabled gun-to-wraith-to-gun-to-deathblossom-to-gun-to-wraith-to-gun reloadless combo in low-silver.
