For me it has to be D.va, god she has the most annoying voice I’ve ever heard, and all her voice lines want to make me go up to her and just tell her to shut up. Except for “Heppy Halloween” of course, that one is alright.

For me it’s Tracer. She’s a squirrel on speed, no one can be that happy and energetic ALL THE TIME. Even in the “Alive” short she treated the battle with widow as a game when an assasination was taking place…

Pharah. It’s ironic because I’m a military vet myself and a pharah main, but I just can’t stand her robotic manly attitude and professional uncaring personality during most of her voicelines and emotes and callouts. Yes I know she has a few outlier examples, but she is a robot tomboy for nearly most of the game

Besides the fact that proto-Mercy is infinitely better AND not a stereotype, let’s go into Mercy’s personality and why I hate it.

She’s a hypocrite. A pacifist with a gun who damage-boosts people to let THEM kill more easily. The only dimension that could have possibly been added to her would have been to make her lowkey evil, but Blizzard confirmed that headcanon false–she’s literally just a goody two-shoes who can do no wrong. Her interaction with Genji for Valentine’s day comes off as disrespectful (“I got you chocolates, Mercy! But not Swiss” “SIGH. I GUESS they’ll have to do. Thanks.”) and I don’t mess with that. Also something something it’s a nono for a doctor to be all smoochy with their patient (Genji). Gimme proto-Mercy darnit!

Mercy. She is the epitome of weakness, docility and dependence. I prefer women like zarya and moira: strong, rational, and competitive.

Yeah that V-day line struck me as rude too now that I think about it. I like Mercy a lot though, so I’m biased but I agree the whole do no wrong thing is off putting.

Zarya is my main and also my favorite hero! Her weapon I find is also the most enjoyable to use, something so satisfying about that perfectly timed bubble.

Arrogant, Annoying, Zero Redeemable Qualities…

Yet everyone loves her and nothing bad happens to her (minus the whole deal with Omnics but that wasn’t exactly exclusive to her)

Even Reinhardt is a fan of her, and he doesn’t seem like the type to keep up with E-Sports.

Looking at her physical design, the whole gamer thing, as well as literally everything else about her (gonna count her “size doesn’t matter” joke here too), she was clearly made to be appealing to any nerd… and it worked.
