Who is the worst hero in the game right now?

As the title says, looking for what the general consensus is on the worst hero. While were at it, why not include the best as well.

My thought’s on the worst are pretty obvious, but as for the best, I think it’s between Pharah, Ashe, and Rein based on how much they received from the midseason patch.

I haven’t played much since mid-season dropped, so take that with a grain of salt.

Reinhardt is NOT the best. You are insane. You could even still play Reaper against him for heaven’s sake. Outta here with that nonsense.

If the people who struggled with Reinhardt played him for 5 games straight, they would probably never touch him again.

Lifeweaver and Mercy, from personal experience.

The DPS’s new passives makes them basically garbage, but I play them anyway because they’re fun.

Seems pretty reasonable to me.

Idk, I found great success with him when I played last. He feels a lot more free to move around with than before and his swings can clobber most squishies. I also haven’t played since people have adapted so again, take it with a grain of salt.

Though I know for a fact that you lose 10 out of every 10 fights you take against a Rein with a Reaper, simply based on the stats. I did test it too, to double confirm.

I can’t say for certain when speaking about lifeweaver, since I find him impossible to kill, but I can see how being made into a healbot only character could reduce his value.

Mercy though, hard disagree. She has so much mobility and a Rezz that’s near impossible to stop unless they actually throw for the Rezz. I think she’s only perceived as weak because Cass is being played a lot now.

In terms of healing, they’re both heavily reduced to healbots. Mobility aside, they’re pretty bad. Only really good at being escape artists right now.

If you swap to your offensive? Someone’s gonna die. And they’re gonna be on your team.
Can’t do preventative healing anymore because of how intense the passive is.

I am jealous of any Reinhardt that is somehow not playing against Orisa/Rammatra/Pharah/Bastion/Sombra/Zen every single game. I usually run into 3 or more. I am not even playing the game. Just holding shield. And those are the GOOD games.

Perhaps I am just unlucky. Always have been.

I think we all agree Sym is the worst. Mei and Mercy and Hanzo also feel pretty doodoo. Dva feels really bad rn but not complaining. She’s annoying to go against when good.

Map and Red Team Tank dependant.

A Sym player who is hell bent on playing Sym while they Pharah. Should just be packed and dropped off in some uncharted Kong Island.

What map? What rank? It depends. Because Sym is suddenly the best hero when played in Lijang and Rein is easily the best hero in the game when played by pure metal ranked players. Yet this doesn’t work outside these situations

There’s no way Rein is better than Mauga in silver.
