I know most of you will say ana,but if i remember she has a voice line Hots where she says she cannot return to overwatch.And I also know that Hots is not canon,but since she faked death,she clearly cannot be,same thing for daddy-o 76,he IS IN overwatch,but he faked his death and he is completly different person now as a soldier and a criminal for stealing that gun he currently has (if my correct) and if he revealed that he faked death,everybody would go nuts!
And for Gabriel its ironic why he can’t be soo im not gonna talk about him…
The only character that I think is leader of current ressurected overwatch is WINSTON or ATHENA OR Even Both together!! What do you think,who is the current leader of Overwatch?
We know answer to this question - it’s Winston, no doubt.
P.S. Personally I think that they will reveal leader, that will be more fan favorite.

Technically it’s still reforming, so there is no current leader (at least officially).

Winston, technically, since he started the recall. The de facto leader of the new OW. Which currently I think only has Tracer, Mei and possibly Rein in there.

He still believes Overwatch can do good for the world and he’s bringing back its members who still want to fight!
Winston is the De-Facto leader. The confirmed team is still only 5-8 heroes. Tracer, Mei, Reinhardt, Brig, and possibly Genji, Torb, and Bastion. Hopefully the McCree short increases that number.
The team might not even need a leader, the group is small enough that with a quick talk a plan of action coulld be organised from who is doing the dishes and who is going to purchase ammo and birdseed. (Happy ganymede keeps Bastion out of PTSD mode.)
Though if the team became larger logistically I would most probably put winston into a command position, Torb as second in command. A scientist and a engineer both with combat skills and experience.
But my question is, how in the hell will the new overwatch pay its bills. Bastion alone would cost 750$ in today’s money per re-load alone.
I think Genji got the message and is joining too. We never see it directly, but I bet you his engagement with Hanzo in the short and the dialogue about how “the world is changing once again Hanzo, and it’s time to pick a side” was probably in reference to Overwatch’s reform.

I think winston will take this place until her work with tracer to gather the team up.
It’s Winston Tracer now. Winston took S76’s place and Tracer took Anas place.
Yeah I think Genji did get the notice - and that’s exactly what he’s up to w/ Hanzo.
But I’m not sure if he’s like, gotten over to the watchpoint with Winston and co. yet.
