I main mercy because she’s easy to play, fun and does consistent healing! Although I am practicing ana and zen because they seem like fun characters and do great amounts of healing c:

When i first started playing this game i mainly played Mercy and Sym cause OW was pretty much my first online FPS.
I still love them even though Sym drastically changed.
The rest of the characters rn are just not my thing anymore :((
I can play anyone, but I main Mercy and Lucio. I like not having to worry about aiming and still being helpful to the team. Plus both of their kits have killer mobility and that always draws me to a character.
I main Mercy. Mained Medic in TF2.
Between that game and this one, I probably qualify for a Bachelors in child care.
Moira: Because is my favourite character.
Junkrat: Because i like his playstyle, but i cant use him in comp since his kit right now is trash.
Ana: when i want to pew pew. And she is good in attack because nano.
I started maining symmetra in 2.0 and I liked everything about her, I liked how she was special and I like her personality but now she is much less fun for me but I will still main her to torture myself.
Reinhadt, because I must answer. Always.
Mercy, because I love pacifist turned combat medic character, and her mobility.
Masochist choices.
Hammond, because hes the only tank thats fun to play (imo) and hasn’t been nerfed into the ground like so many of my favorite characters
Mercy. If I were a pacifist with any other character I would be banned
Genji because he’s literally the only fun hero in the game. I don’t get enjoyment from pointing and clicking on hitscan heroes, I get enjoyment from being able to flawlessly execute combos, which is something only Genji can really offer. Grinding with the goal of getting consistent with his combos despite it being an essentially unreachable goal is more satisfying than grinding with the aim of being able to hit every headshot on McCree or Widowmaker ever will be.
Mercy because I have no ability to play any other character to any efficiency to the rank that I carried myself with Mercy.

I sadly don’t have a main. There are characters I play more and can pick to help the team. I often like playing Mystery because it forces me to play heroes I wouldn’t otherwise, learn weaknesses and strengths, and problem solve when getting smashed. I also love killing an opponent who is clearly loving playing their main and then have to switch onto someone they can’t play.
I do pay attention to what pros play in OWL because it helps me understand which heroes, when played well, not only mesh but are most effective… especially when my team needs that one piece of the puzzle.
Finally, I think I don’t try to main because there’s always a chance the main will be changed for the worst.
Hanzo cause he was literally my first pick.
Torb cause he is funny swedish guy
Bastion cause he is cute
Soldier76 cause I use him as aim-trainer
Also I have 2 minute total time on Brigitte lol
No particular hero, because I like to play the whole game.
Pretty much same here 
Roadhog, Soldier, Tracer and Ana
Roadhog got me in the game because he’s the most interesting right now, not much is known about his past.
Soldier is my second because I also wanted to play other Shooters, so Soldier is good for aim
Tracer is good for predicting opponents and punishing repitivity, like in most shooters
And Ana is last and most recent, I started being a one trick ana on my alt, then i tried on my main, and it’s really fun
I might give Zarya a try later.
hammond, he’s really fun and very underrated
McCree + Sombra for the most part.
McCree because I joined from CS and he’s basically deagle the hero and Sombra because I’ve always loved stealth and rogue-like playstyles.
Because i can’t feel anything anymore.
Plus Mccree and Widowmaker.
