Who do you hate the most personality-wise?

Honestly, Mei’s gotta take the crown for me. She’s just a scientist, but I don’t think even a scientist that literally freezes people alive can be so soft.
Her softness sounds fully fake and artifical. In Archive Missions, she’s like:
“It’s about to get dangerous :open_mouth:” (Like, bruh, there are 7 Enforcers in front of us.)
“Here comes the enemy :hushed:” (She says while Genji already died.)

It generally sounds like she’s not aware of the horrors of the battlefield and can easily get traumatized and it all sounds even more fake than the applause of my classmates after I gave a presentation. It’s like she’s on the run for something so she desperately tries to hide that she’s a psychopath.

Pharah gains immunity because she has none.

well we can have a trial about that…

Moira’s perpetually on some high-IQ-to-understand-rick-&-morty stuff, coupled with the fact that she’s basically built to farm medals among otherwise mid stats, she’s probably my least favourite to see picked on a team with new people.

“My keen, analytical mind detects a pattern forming.” might just be the worst multikill line I’ve heard in a game

All of the heroes are pretty awesome in their own way

I suppose my main gripe is that ‘in-game Doomfist’ feels more like a grunt than a ‘boss’. Not seeing the criminal mastermind vibe at hit-n-run/flank-tank Doom. Wish he conveyed more of a menacing poise overall, like the type of evil giant warrior who’d duel Reinhardt in the rain

Along the same note, Sigma too – the cinematic team showed me a man corrupted by Talon who has a personality that is screaming for violence and yet in game, he is played as a quirky and soft grandpa. I want to see more of his fragmented personality or to see them unshackle Sigma finally and release the Hyde inside of him.

D.Va. No question.
And before anyone says “she’s supposed to be played up and obnoxious”, that doesn’t make it any better.

The voice acting and personality the actors/design team put into the heroes is well done in my opinion.

I saw Mei mentioned. I don’t really play her but her lines always come across as sweet but menacing. Like Mei’s snowball game when she says “Haha I’m putting a rock in this one!” (probably not verbatim) . It adds some interest to her character because you know even as nice as she appears to be she’ll freeze you(until OW2) and ice spike you in the face. Lol

I love Moira and Symmetra especially though. Their lines make them that much more enjoyable to play for me.

I have absolutely no sympathy for Sigma.
I think he’s a poser and his personality seems fake.
A little more storytelling might help.

Worry not
In ow2 they increased her UwU voice personality by 300% so even if she sucks to play as, she can kill her opponents mentally

Either that or people say “But, Shooting Star shows that she is not obnoxious or uwu, but that she is sophisticated and deep!”

Sure… but no, that felt like a one-time thing, since almost every other time, she is annoying as hell.

Despite being a D.Va main, I find her to be quite grating. More so in OW2.
