Seriously? Everytime I jump into this game Im trashed on. It’s not just me being bad. I know Im not a pro but the matchmaking is absolute nonsense. Constantly placed against ranked tryhards. Always. rarely do I get a decently even matchup. One team always dominates and that team is usually a group of tryhard ranked players. No hate. Just tired of being placed against people Im not even close to being in the same league as.
I dont care how long dps have to wait for the queue. I shouldn’t be thrown to the wolves every match because some gamers cant stand to wait an extra 30 seconds for their matches. Their lack of patience can suck it.

I’m learning these days that, as an older gamer from the Atari/NES days, games cater to two kinds of people anymore. Crybabies and whales. Everyone else can jump off a bridge. It’s ruined gaming anymore. Competitive gaming used to be fun. Now its all manipulated and bs.

I’ll take the leave banality any day over being stuck in a game like that.

and thats okay. If they wanna go hard then they can go hard. My problem comes when those tryhards are looped in with the casuals strictly to satisfy their lack of patience in waiting for a queue. I may be casual but Im sure as hell not cannon fodder for these wannabe pros.
I just dont have the patience, or time, to dick around with an algorithm. Ill find something else to play and maybe one day players will wake up to Blizzard’s bs.
support/dps
Ill tank too if I have a decent support team but that rarely happens unless I can manage a group of friends.
You’d have to figure out a way to directly get ahold of Microsoft and Aaron Keller and explain to them that new changes are going to have to be made. and that you aren’t giving them money because the gaming experience sucks here.
Overwatch went Free 2 play. Which means they are very obviously using EOMM because they either have to drive you into fatigue so you dont use the game long, or you have to be encouraged to buy skins and face some sort of reward.
My testing of this was some time ago when I purchased a SKIN during 2. Which I rarely buy skins in this game.
Suddenly, I started getting better gaming experiences and matches after just 1 skin purchase. The matches just seamed “better” for awhile.
Then gradually they got way worse over a period of days.
Now, can I PROVE this?? - NO.
But there should be a caveat here,. That if your buying Overwatch skins you probably will get better matches and if you dont. You get only a limited number of ones and they should be open and honest about this approach. but they wont.
I think EOMM is scummy but until we as a community request that they change their system back to the original. Which is 59 bucks for an account so they make money and that skin prices are lowered into the 1-5 dollar range.
It wont change. Because they have to make money off of us. And that means the people that hand them money get treated better than those that dont.
If you notice this, the team with the hottest flashiest skins and cosmetics are always beating us in our steam rolls. And the teams with basic generic or outdated skins are almost always getting beat. Thats a “tell”. Just pay attention and see if Im WRONG or I am right.
WHEN THIS GARBAGE RIGGED MAP VOTING SYSTEM GETS REMOVED SO WE STOP GETTING WASTE OF TIME THROWER MAPS LIKE CONTROL AND FLASHPOINT. NOBODY KNOWS HOW TO PLAY THEM AND EVEN IF THEY DID THEY FORGET AFTER WINNING A ROUND AND PROCEED TO THROW AND LOSE IN THE END
REMOVE IT AND CHANGE IT TO SELECT MAP TYPE
That’s it
THATS ALL YOU HAVE TO DO BLIZZARD
There’s a lot more to it than that. I’ve seen great players throw because of bad maps.
Also, caps lock is on, broham. Might wanna see to that. Not sure if you knew but we can read without caps. Wierd, I know.
Yes. Because the maps are bad. You’re an absolute genius for that revelation.
You missed the point. Whether on purpose or not. The point I’m making is that maps aren’t the issue. Matchmaking, or lack there of, that allows for casuals to be placed against tryhard/ranked players in quick play IS the problem.
