While Watching Some Vids

I realized … Rien needs a HUGE damage nerf… When he can kill a tank being healed in 3+ hits something is wrong.

What tank is Rein killing with just 3 hammer swings?

You play a shooter and not a melee game and I dont think that “Rien” is so mobile.

What tank counters Rien?

It’s ‘Moria’ all over again, lol

Rammatra and Orisa are the main ones. Doomfist, Hog, and Mauga can be under the right circumstances or with the correct playstyle. That being said, the opposite can be true under the wrong circumstances. Junkerqueen is just a better Brawl tank, so, she tends to be a strong pick against him as well.

Just avoid Zarya and Sigma. The other tanks do fine-ish against him. Generally you avoid him in the dive tanks or poke him with the poke tanks. He loses Brawl to everyone except Zarya, as mentioned. Ball is pretty meh. You have to be quite good at him because Reinhardt can just force point and Ball does very little to contest him. At least Winston can zap through his barrier and Dva can eat his firestrikes. Ball has nothing.

Ah yes Rein, one of the tanks that struggle the most, dude are we for real? I see jqueen and soj melt his shield and you complain about ‘‘his dmg?’’

I have been telling this for a year now.

He has the highest no aim dmg on top of also having the best shield.

Well it makes sense that he does right? Given he has the shortest range of all the tanks

Idk if it’s too much but those are supposed to be his pros and cons

Range isn’t an issue considering it is a tank’s job to be on the frontline.

It kinda is an issue when he struggles to do anything against like half the DPS and supports in the game.

A shield that puts him out of action, has to be constantly positioned along with him and doesn’t actually act as a thing he can use to cover him from the position he wants.

I don’t think he is weak but i think he has the best designed shield not necessarily the best shield.

It s most durable and offers more cover and that is what counts.

Not necessarily big doesn’t mean more cover compared to Winston bubble or sigma shield which can be placed were ever you want especially against enemy ranged heroes.

Also it eats more dmg being big and flat from all spread spam.

The biggest drawback is his shield puts him out of commission from attacking and worse slows him.

double firestrike, 100 damage swings, 300 damage cancellable pin against 325-375 health tanks is OP lol who would’ve thought

surely for the 6v6 they just go back to season 8 level health pools and damage numbers

It is enough that it fills the need of a common formation that is moving forward (or even a camping one).
Wnston’s bubble may provide better cover but breaks too easily and doesn’t move with the team.
