Which Zarya's Bubble can't Block from Abillity or Weapons?

Just wonder. I don’t know what she can’t Block.

I’m pretty sure she can block almost anything. It also removes Orbs and status conditions as well.

So it’s the best shield in the game when it is on someone, it just has relatively low HP to balance it out.

It cant protect anybody from boops but can protect people from anything else for up to 200 hp and it lasts for 2 seconds I believe. A bubble that takes 200 damage also gives zarya 40 charge

It blocks literally everything, but has only 200hp (can survive bursts higher than that though).

It’s also a cleanse.

It blocks all damage, and all CC/disabling effects, with a few exceptions:

  • Knockback effects associated with anything that normally goes through barriers (e.g. Reinhardt’s hammer, Winston’s Primal Rage, Rocket Punch, Graviton Surge) will still affect the protected player.
  • E.M.P. will destroy the barrier and hack the player it’s protecting, but if that player has any regular shields, the barrier prevents those shields from also being destroyed.

Rein booping you with charge and Hammond swinging into you are the only things that can move you when you have a bubble, I think so at least, might be wrong

It can’t protect from physical boops. Ie, it will block Pharah boop and Ashe force-a-nature, but not Wrecking Ball swing and Doomfist uppercut/RP.

I think lucio and pharah boops still work too bc ive been booped multiple times when ive had a bubble

She can block everything except Knock back from melee hits from Rein’s hammer and Winston’s Primal Rage swings. But her bubble has a limited HP.

She blocks everything but a graviton surge but even than she protects you from the damage

Pretty sure rein charge still carries a bubble target.

And it lasts such a short time u just take a long route and it will pop before you impact and kill the target.

There was something else too, I saw in a game a day or two ago, cant remember what it was but I was very shocked to see the bubble be ineffective against another attack. If I recall I will post.

Probably you reacted slow, and activated it after you’ve been booped. It’s usually clear on death cam if the boop end up killing you.

Actually this sounded like a real thing so I did some snooping around, and this is a thing they added in the march 21st 2017 patch the same one that added Orisa, here’s the full patch about it

Zarya

  • Particle Barrier
    • No longer protects Zarya from knockback
  • Projected Barrier
    • No longer protects allies from knockback

Developer Comments: This is actually reverting a change that we made a few patches ago, which made players immune to knockbacks if they were hit by an effect from inside her barrier. This had some negative side effects, such as making targets immune to knockbacks from effects that pierce barriers, like Reinhardt’s charge and Winston’s Primal Rage punches. Now, these will cause knockback again. This does not affect knockbacks from effects that originate from outside her barriers, such as Pharah’s Concussive Blast. Those will still be blocked by the barriers, not causing any knockback.

They don’t, but with latency it is possible for a knockback to hit you when you weren’t protected yet on that player’s screen, even though you bubbled on yours.
