Which heroes do you enjoy playing against and which do you hate?

Wanted to see if others shared similar feelings as I did as to who on the roster is actually an enjoyable part of the game in its current state. Characters not listed can be classified as “meh”.

I hate playing against Brigitte because nobody on my team shoots the shield. It’s almost as if it’s invincible and there’s no reason to shoot it. Brigitte is easy to kill once the shield breaks.

I love playing aginst sym tho. Easy kill.

For me it is generally not a specific hero, but hero combinations that if I play against them, I end up just quitting out of Overwatch after the game.

The compositions that annoy me the most are ones that stack up on the crowd control. I get that as a tank, CC being directed at me means it isn’t hitting my team mates, but damn it, I want to play the game too.

Why?
Because there a rarity in diamond and up
and 1 of the fews times i feel I can truly gauge how good I am at rat.

Heroes to enjoy playing against: anyone but Genji

Genji’s double jump just throws me off apparently. Don’t know why. I blame myself for having that problem though.

I hate playing against Widow, Hanzo and Doomfist. Everyone else is fun to play against cause you can do fun / thoughtful plays against them. With the snipers it’s “oh jeez hope my widow is better than theirs, can’t poke my head out for even half a second to do anything!” Against doom it’s “oh he wants to kill me now, I literally cannot stop him nor can my team be alerted in time.” (this is from a sym perspective but also my other account where I main support)

I’m largely impartial when it comes to hers characters I like or don’t like to play against, but there are a few exceptions.

I hate playing against Hanzo:
As someone who has zero interest in playing any character with a hitbox smaller than Doomfist’s, and generally doesn’t care for high-mobility characters, Hanzo is my worst nightmare. He can just corner-peek me until I’m dead LUL

I like playing against Bastion, Doomfist, Brigitte, Orisa, and Genji:
As a Bastion main, I shed a small tear and give a small salute to anyone with enough b@lls (or masochistic tendencies) to play him in competitive.

As someone who plays a lot of Doomfist, I can really appreciate how much skill goes into him when playing well, but it also makes it easy for me to counter him.

Brigitte’s just hilariously easy to counter TBH, Junk and Pharah just obliterate her. That said, if you come across a Brigitte that’s skilled enough to play around her counters, you’re gonna be in spawn a lot.

Orisa is pretty much the same as Brigitte: easy to counter, but scary if the player is good at her.

Genji is just kinda a nonstop grudge match with me. I have no real issues with the character himself, but oh man do the players that tend to play him drive me up the wall. In 2 years of playing this game, I can count the number of chill, humble Genji mains I’ve come across on one hand. I’m not saying they aren’t out there, but oh man are they the minority. Their enormous ego and/or constant whining persist all the way to Diamond in my experience, and oh man does it feel good to curb stomp one as an “easy LUL” hero while you can almost be assured that he’s going ballistic over how his “incredible skill” is being countered.
