Which gold weapon should I get out of the following?

I’ve reached 3000 competitive points. I don’t have a “main” hero as such - I play several. Help me decide which hero to buy gold weapon for:

Brigitte - novelty. Gold flail and shield - 2 for the price of one.

Doomfist - most fun hero. Large visible fist. Buffs incoming. Downside: his fist can’t fall to the ground when he dies, unlike eg rein’s hammer, whose gold hammer persists on the ground for a while after he dies because it’s detached from his body. Can’t show off your cool gold weapon to everyone even when your dead

Widow - most played. Commands respect. Less likely to be suspected of being a troll pick, if using gold weapon

Reinhardt - most wins. Helped get me to Platinum. Matches London Spitfire/Boston uprising skin. Largest gold weapon/most eye catching. Can play rein at full 1080p as aim/high frame rate isn’t important with him - gold weapon will look nicer from my POV

Despite barely having played her, I’m strongly leaning towards getting it for Brigitte BUT it seems likely she’ll be nerfed at some point and maybe even nerfed into the ground like they did with Mercy. Hmm, it’s so hard to decide! What were y’all’s deciding factors for your first gold weapon?

260h on Sombra was a big deciding factor.

But then again, I bought a gold weapon for Junkrat after 3h played.

Widow, then buy a Seoul Dynasty skin to match.
Although, Reinhardt would be great too, and he might get buffs since so many people are complaining about him…

I’m trying to make the same decision. It’s really hard. Brigitte’s seems really cool and I like her as a character, but I only want to buy it if I’m going to be a good Brigitte player - and I don’t know yet haha.

For you, probably Widow. It looks super cool on her, and you play her a lot. But Rein is really great also.

Pick widow. You can’t be a bad widow if you have the gold gun.

I’m doing per roles, one for support, tanks, defenses and offense, so grab your gold weapon thinking the role you most play and preferred char.

And I thought I was nuts with 250 hrs on Reaper…

I got my first gold gun for the hero I enjoy playing the most, which also happened to be my best hero (Reaper). I wouldn’t recommend Brigitte since she’s still in the “to-be-changed” period

I got the widow golden gun because I’m in bronze where a golden gun is a badge of shame and I’m terrible with her. It is a very sarcastic golden gun.

I bought one for Genji as it was a bet but I would get Doomfists golden weapon it is one of the best ones in the game in my opinion.
