Where’s Pharah’s nerf with Mercy?
Cuz I hate pharamercy.
That Mercy superjump I also think is ridiculous.
Bastion jump is another ridiculous thing.
If the game is to be the same for everyone, take advantage of it and take it all away or make it easy for everyone to do, especially the superjump Mercy, ridiculous thing.
For me this is a game bug and it shouldn’t even exist, otherwise it would be written in the skill description.
I’ve seen so many things that will be nerfed and buffed in this OW2 that it’s funny.
Same thing as OW1 almost;
The difference is that there will be frequent updates after launch.
nothing wrong with it.
as long as its in the eyes for balance.
you cannot say mercy doesn’t have vertical mobility.
if you say this, its imeadiatly a bug that needs fixing. otherwise maybe mention it for lesser hardcore players. that they know it exists and is not a bug?
but imho as long as mercy is considered to have vertical mobility its calculated into balance = its fine
since they acknowledged it, i guess they also balance with it in mind.
Doesn’t need much to mention it to avoid people thinking its an exploit to use it and not avoid it.
like a simple, “Ever pressed crouch during GA?”
but that is not a mercy exclusive with not mentioning how the kit works.
applies to almost every hero
Fyi, getting rid of Super Jump would just further strengthen Pharmercy by making Mercy more reliant on Pharah for mobility again. GA tech unshackled Mercy from the combo, Pharah is the one who still needs the pairing.
If you want to nerf Pharmercy, then Pharah needs a rework to be more self-reliant. Getting rid of damage boost is technically an option and would address pocketing as a whole, but Pharah would still need the rework anyway because she doesn’t function without Mercy.
The devs admitted that when making these two they sorta made them work in tandem (like how they did with Ashe). So it’s more of an issue with Pharah’s design, cause making a character who’s reliant on another is just a bad idea.
Hopefully they can realize this and give Pharah a more self-sufficient update.
