It seems like every time a new event pops up (or patch) Total Mayhem gets lost in the shuffle and doesn’t show up for at least a week. This is real annoying as it’s the only mode I play. Can y’all please fix this problem so it goes back to coming up every other day? Thank you.
Yeah, same. I play other modes, but mostly TM.
Every time an event comes on, it gets shuffled out of rotation, then once the event is over, it shows back up again like clockwork. I wish they’d just make the modes available all the time from a drop down or something.

That’s not a bad idea. At least this way it makes it permanent which is what it should be anyway.
So you can play against literally unkillable Balls every match that drag the time out to 30 minutes of overtime?

They’re not unkillable, they just require teamwork. /shrug

I’d love to, but as you and I both know, our replays are gone with the latest patch, and Total Mayhem hasn’t been available since then.

He’s not unkillable, it IS difficult, but as I said previously… Teamwork makes the dream work.
Regardless he shouldn’t be like that. I used to enjoy TM until everyone started playing Ball. Now every match is a boring slog of Ball standing on the payload and pressing one button, not even moving.
Then your team is the issue, not Ball. If he’s not moving, it’s because the team isn’t actively attempting to displace him, or kill him. As I said before, it’s a team effort. It’s no different from Winston really.
Winston usually just sits on the payload with his shield, and then shield dances when someone tries to displace him. If they get him low, he just ults, or jumps away and looks for health packs, then comes back and rinse/repeat. If you don’t use teamwork, you’ll never get rid of him.
Someone plays Ball in TM.
I’ve played him a few times, I tend to stay away from him though because of the fact he’s OP in TM. There’s OP, then there’s ridiculously way over the top OP, kind of how like Zarya used to be in TM where she had infinite bubble.
Could he use some tuning? Absolutely, but rarely do they tune in TM unless strictly necessary.
And yet another day without TM in rotation.
Makes me sad.
