Where is the surrender vote?

there’s too many bad, fake boosted players in every game. Every other game like league, valorant etc has a surrender vote to prevent players from feeling trapped playing with idiots. Why doesn’t overwatch2 have that. It would fix the leaving game problem.

Sometimes we should ask the questions like why do u players leave games. Maybe instead of punishing players that leave games because of bad fake boosted players. Instead we can have a surrender vote allowing players leave games that ahs fake boosted bad players. FF15 needs to be in the game or else i’m running down mid.

Stomp matches are over in less than 10 minutes. Teams that get zero elims should get priority queue though for sure.

Playing/Suffering for 10 minutes can be more than harmful to your mental. We need a surrender vote after 5 minutes passed. It’s more than fair to be honest.

ive seen bunch of artifically prolonged stomp matches… its really painfull picture to see… and alot more painfull to participate on losing side =\

If there was a surrender option in OW then everyone would use it after the first fight and you’d never get to finish a match.

bad take. 10 minutes of going 2-0-23 is not a good way to pass time (my reaper ~10 games ago)

good :+1:t2: less toxicity and angry egamers

Imagine having a bunch of crap games in a row. And then you finally get into a match with a coherent team that is doing well, and the other team surrenders. I would feel totally robbed, personally.

If they add a surrender, you might not have to sit through a loss, but you won’t be able to enjoy a win either, imo.

Because Overwatch has more whiny players that would insta surrender compared to other games.

In my over 8k hours in overwatch. I’ve probably won over 200 “unwinnable” games. Stop being a baby and wanting to surrender all the time

Because FPS games have evolved to the point where it is expected of you to be good. By good i mean able to get the very basics and common sense nailed. So if a player or players don’t live up to that standard. Players would just surrender because nobody likes playing with a loser. Nobody likes to actually “carry” games. People would prefer skilled players vs skilled enemies because it creates a good experience. This was actually something VERY COMMON BACK THEN. games like S4 league, Gunz the duel, wolf team etc had no ranked match making and was very easy to spot the skill difference between a good and bad player. A player being bad doesn’t really affect you much. All you have to do is kill him easily.

gaming back then was merciless but gaming now tells bad players its okay to be bad and that really triggers good players. We’re here to game not babysit. parents neglect their children and give em a screen to play games making good players all of a sudden turn gaming into “parenting” is stupid. He/She is not my child. Blizzard doesn’t care about these kids and neither do good players. So the best case scenarios is just surrendering. Nobody likes playing with a loser. because good players don’t have traits that make them losers’. That’s what losers’ have and it rubs off on good players overtime. So surrendering and not spending another second with losers saves their time before it starts to rub off on them.

Sounds like a dream come true tbh

If you’ve played QP EVER you’d know this is true.

Lose 1st teamfight = leave.
Enemy team caps point on Hybrid = leave.
Enemy wins a round on Control = leave.

I get leaving in SOME, very few cases but most of the time people leave just because they are losing.

You queue matches to leave them instead of playing then???

I don’t understand why people queue Comp and get surprised when they lose. What did you expect? To win every game? You either Win or Lose, sometimes Draw (which is a half win because you still get SR)
I don’t like losing either but it’s bound to happen.

You never seen matches with 0 kills dps have you

Maybe not in Competitive but I certainly have in QP.

With that said, ever since OW2, I have had multiple awful matches (Competitive) that felt like forced losses, because of how bad the matchmaker is.
It’s awful. I just “want” that game to end since it’s more likely a loss, doesn’t mean I won’t try to win.

What I REALLY want is better, more consistent matchmaking (like OW) so that feeling of “please just end this game” doesn’t happen as much.

Most of my comp games come down to the wire and tbh I’m surprised that I won a lot of the time. But I’d never just throw in the towel. I swear if Overwatch players would just suck it up and keep their head in the game every once in a while we wouldn’t see half these posts about rigged and unwinnable and silly conspiracy theories about the devs.

No because then people will just bully others by not allowing it to go through or try wottong when in the middle of a team fight to much toll potential pn top the amount of games i have one haver getting stompped for luke 5 minutes is insane so ill keep my bad games for turn aorunds to happen

If OW had a surrender button, they’d never finish a match.

Game needs a total rework.

I’m ready for something like 12v12 on a large scale map.

This 5v5 tank fest is about the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen.

The mental of the average ow2 player is so weak that every match people would surrender without learning anything from the match. Blaming their teammates and the system.

The fact is if you are getting stomped over and over again without ever learning something then you deserve to be stomped.

Never surrender, keep fighting.
