I played on the PTR the entire time. Loved Role Lock.
Now I get on Live servers and they removed Role Lock from Quickplay?
Give me a break Blizzard. I donāt want to constantly play Competitive just for Role Lock.

I was really happy knowing role queue was happening for quick play as well, got the game recently and I rarely have the opportunity to try out dps because everyone insta locks dps in quick play, pratically forced myself to learn tanking and support because of it

They want to test it on the beta season first, then put it everywhere else.

Theyre beta testing it for comp on live to get a bigger pool most likely before doing a full rollout

Role Queue isnāt going to be in QP until September 1st along with the proper Season 18. In the meantime, people are saying QP has a role limit in place and itās currently ārace to your roleā. Might be an unintentional bug though.
They had it for a long time on PTR servers and yet they couldnāt deliver it, because reasons.
But itās funny seeing it announced on a board presenting Sigma.

Or they just want to test it with the entire playerbase.
The PTR playerbase are mostly (if not all) players that adore the idea of role queue, so there will definitely be bias among them. Live servers have both.
BUUUUUUTTTTTā¦ it would be a 2 week period, so it definitely would never be pulled off.
Can not wait for this - no more 5 dps to solo heal
