A while ago you guys introduced new titles for each role like Grandmaster Support except while doing so you also removed the old ones robbing me of all the GM titles I had earned before in the process and I’m not about to grind back on 7 accounts for titles I already earned, fix it.
Even worse some accounts I never even got the GM title in the first place after being GM multiple seasons in a row and I’ve been asking for it to be fixed multiple times in the bug section of the forums, I’m kinda fed up at this point.
I thought those titles were supposed to be removed from accounts unless you achieved that rank in the prior season.

They were removed even tho I was GM in previous seasons and even had the GM role queue title on a couple of accounts while some others never got it eventho they were GM.
why do you care about something so pointless

Rank titles are only given if you earned them last season. For example if you finish gm then finish masters the following season the gm title is replaced with masters. If you dont place or play you get no title.

Pretty sure they’re not replaced, do you have a source?
I never even got the GM title in the first place eventho I had like 15 to 30 games played in GM depending on the account and the couple of accounts I actually had the title I lost it when they introduced the new titles per role.
Why care about anything? Sounds like you’re a pretty negative person.

They’re 100% replaced every season. If you finish the season at a lower rank you lose the old title and gain the lower ranked one. I don’t have a link since I’m lazy but that’s how it works.
To be fair it does sometimes bug. It happened to me in earlier seasons and was only fixed the following season.

i think you have to play at least 10 games on a role to get the title
and they also reset every season
say you got GM in season 10 but only played 3 games in season 11 you’re not going to get to keep the title

What meow said, also there have been instances in the past where people haven’t gotten their competitive season rewards and I believe somewhere around here there’s a megathread about that. You can search it up, because I’m not sure where it is.

Yup, that’s what happened to me on pretty much all my accounts in the earlier seasons of OW2, already posted multipe topics about it in the bug section of the forums, never got a reply.

in the past if you had it equipped you could just keep it, but nowadays it’s different it just removes it from your account
The titles are seasonal. Not a hard concept to grasp
