When workshop update

It’s been a while since the last significant workshop update (projectiles in season 4). Ever since then, the workshop has been on a long decline. It’s broken, barely works with newer heroes, and recently was disabled at the start of season 18 due to an unknown issue.

What about the workshop community? We have only discovered one major thing, and that’s about it. Sure we can still create modes, but using only a very limited palette of code. I know that the workshop has grown since it’s introduction, and that most of the things created today would have only been a dream back then, but it still feels stale.

So I would hereby give a list of things that us, the workshop community, wants.

#1: Navigation Meshes - Creating pathfinding is hard, and making sure it works well is even harder. Luckily, the AI bots utilize nav meshes, so bringing that over to workshop should take a little work, for a huge relief for a ton of workshoppers.

#2: NPCs - Dummy Bot this, Dummy Bot that, sure. But what about the other types of heroes? Hero Mastery was removed as of season 19, so why not bring the bots into the workshop? Maybe as an extension, but bringing over the NPC heroes would allow for a lot of creativity.

#3: Old abilities - I can see this one being tough, but if that could ever happen, that would be impressive.

#4: Map editor - I’m going to be brief on this one, as I know the devs have talked about it before. Being able to make maps is cool, and maybe we could have our own hammer/bf6 portal.

#5: Stadium Integration - This one is pretty self-explanatory, just add workshop functions to stadium.

#6: Continued Workshop Support - Remember earlier when I said the workshop has been on a decline since projectiles? That could have all been solved if the workshop had more support. I know the layoffs halted workshop support, but if we could see bugs getting fixed and features being implemented again, then speaking on behalf of the workshop community, thank you.
