When will we get more D.VA lore?

As you may read from the title, I seriously wanna know when we will get more D.VA lore, basically the only thing we know is that she’s a professional gamer and that she’s part of the South korean MEKA unit to protect her home land from the colossal omnic.
There are a lot of players who wanna know more about her and we still haven’t gotten anything, no cinematic, no comic, no lore related skins, no south korea map, nothing.
You could say that even Ganymede has more lore than D.VA… AND IT’S JUST A RANDOM BIRD!

Ummm… She went to junkertown and fought the queen and her lore connects with junkertown.(cuz she has a junkertown mech skin)

Not all skins are cannon, so unless we get a confirmation, D.va never went to Junkertown

I’ve always been curious about her MEKA unit. What other models are there, do they have sniper MEKA’s, mortar MEKA’s, submarine MEKA’s, aerial MEKA’s, does D.va’s MEKA even have a model name?

yeah that’s another thing that would be nice to know. Lore about south korea in general AND D.VA would be nice, but we didn’t get anything

No other skins connect to the direct world of overwatch it could be you never know. The queen could be extremly interested in her attitude to win and how she deletes bots and her piolting skills.

Let’s not forget that they already retconned her SC2 career before she even got more lore, so she is the only hero in the game that now has even LESS lore than they started with which was already a pathetic amount to begin with.

I am actually surprised they missed the chance to promote OWL with her (but to be honest that woudl probably have backfired anyway).

Would be nice if blizzard wouldn’t ignore D.VA. It’s sad that even Orisa, Doomfist and Moira have more lore than her even tho she is in the game since ages and those are new heroes

Never.

D.va is the only character who never will have a lore in this game because is a walking fan service girl who appeals to contradict the stereotype about " girls doesn’t play video games and will never be good at it".

Also as a character she is boring, meme voices lines(I cannot stand the english VA to be honest) and a little cringe.

Honestly I would like to see Zenyatta or even Lucio animated short.

that’s not really a reason to not give a hero more lore. A lot of players find junkrat’s voice and sometimes junkrat as a character extremely annoying but he still has lore

Disregard the salty players. Everyone who denies lore for a character simply because they don’t like them already disqualified themselves as someone who knows anything about storywriting and character/world building.

You give characters lore exactly BECAUSE you want to build them up and make them more interesting. Denying them lore just because you find them annoying is contra productive in so many ways I can’t even begin to comprehend the reasoning behind such thoughts.

At least Junkrat is a lovable character and is fun in pair with Roadhog.

D.va has everything wrong, and that 12 yo attitude makes her cringe if not pathetic (lol git gut xd, ez mode gg !!! ) who actually can love someone who spells LOL irl?

Believe it or not, the only reason D.va is popular is because her attractive Korean design and nothing else, if her VA would be more serious and sound less like a little squire spelling memes every 2 seconds MAYBE she would be a interesting character.

exactly, there is a reason lore gets (or in D.VA’s case should) get added, because we know so little about them that they seem boring
