Games have reached a point where at least one every two games has at least a duo, trio or stack of people on both sides (with a very big skill gap, to add to that) who seem to be always working together, putting a solo players who gets to fill the empty space at a big disadvantage when on the wrong role.
These groups tend to be quite toxic (such as group showing off in text chat about how easy it is to stomp less experienced players) and if they see you’re the one a bit more “aware” (of footsteps or of ult usage for example) they target you knowing nobody else would help.
I’ve seen posts dating back years on various forums and social media asking for solo queues but this game, by now, prefers to put you in a matchmaking where your team gets snowballed (skill gap from everyone, including me, compared to the enemy team) just to give an easy win to a group at the cost of solo players having it the most unfair. If you’re a tank, dps or support it seems the enemy group always easily focuses you unless on your team you’re lucky to have similar more “gameplay aware” groups. When I go back to quickplay to take a break the same exact thing happens and so it does on Stadium lol, really there’s no escape from facing groups as a solo player. I would gladly wait more time to get such queues but I don’t see why I should get snowballed (especially on support) just to give a free win to the enemy team since my duos tend to be very tunnel-visioned.
