my lowest wait time in QP is 5 minutes, that’s too long.

5 minutes is too long for quick play, my wait times are 5 minutes as tank or support as a minimum…not good enough
Well then. Go and find thousands of people and convince them to buy overwatch and play quickplay so you get shorter que times.

If you’re getting over 5 minute queue times for QP on Tank/Support, you’re either Australian or a liar.
I get them in EU server too at prime time between 7-10pm.
I always tick all 3 roles, I always wait at least 3 mins with 5 being average and sometimes up to 8-10mins. I have not once played DPS, I just get put into support and rarely in tank.
The game is dead on EU, On American servers I usually find a match withing 2 mins.
I almost exclusively play at 7-10PM on EU servers and I never have an issue with finding a tank-support game in a couple minutes. This is on Xbox as well, which almost certainly has a lower playerbase than PC and PS.
I play on PC, and I have those waiting times. It’s super frustrating and I am not even duoing with my bf anymore because if we duo, we wait around 8-10mins for a match.
It’s horrible and I do take more latency over long wait times. I can’t wait for the PTR update with the deathmatch while you wait, at least I can play while I wait instead of staring at my phone for 5mins.
Fix them yourself - click the tank/healer button.
They already fixed the game.

So I’m on PC/EU as well. I’m always in Q with 1 tank and 1 Support (both mid gold). If I pick Tank we find a game in 1 to 2 minutes. If I pick Support its 3 to 4 minutes and if I go DPS its 4 to 6 minutes. I should be a low plat tank and high gold DPS and Support (Not sure though because I haven’t played comp since season 14 or something). Q Times stay pretty much the same between 5 pm and 2 am (Due to work I’m not playing at the same time every day).
So could it be a MMR Issue in your case?
Back to topic:
There is pretty much no real way to fix Q Times at this point.
The only way is to get DPS Player to play more Tank but as soon as they create a fun Tank People (DPS Players mostly but not exclusively) want him nerfed. Often with the weirdest issues, Sigmas DPS (even though his DPS is lower than Brigs or Reinhardts) for example.
Q Times are an Issue because of the player base, so it is the Player bases Duty to fix that issue if they want it fixed.
Op probably isn’t posting a solution because they aren’t a game developer. People can still complain and question things without offering solutions.
Tell that to my 4-6 man group that’s waiting 8-10 minutes to play 1 game.
We already have “while you wait” on the ptr. Wait to try it out at least
