When we get stats, and how they work

Remember 2/2/2 is enforced which means dps pickrates will drop, while support and tanks will rise because 2 are mandatory now. This was shown before Overbuff couldn’t be used for the week section.

Every supports and most tanks pickrates rose.

Do not compare their pickrates to what they were and say they’re getting more usage because they aren’t.

Now onto how to judge if a specific hero is op or not based on pickrates and win rates.

Now heroes that have low pickrates and low winrates are bad

Heroes with high pickrates and high winrates are usually op or meta

Heroes with low pickrates and high winrates are usually Torb or Symmetra

Heroes with high pickrates and low winrates don’t exist other than Mercy during the Ana meta.

Now specific heroes do not follow these rules and here they are

Symmetra usually has a high winrate and always has

Torb usually has a high winrate always has

Mercy always has a high pickrate and always has

For these heroes, you cannot use the statistics to justify a nerf or buff. It is only if their winrate/pickrate is below or above where the others are.

Thank you for listening to my TedTalk

To be fair, according to overbuff, tanks, supports, and dps were all played right around the same amount in comp before 2/2/2 got locked. Obviously every game wasnt 2/2/2, but it averaged out that way. Even tho sym is still a support and there is still offense and defense for some reason.

Actually they will probably go down because you can’t play goats or similar comps anymore.
