of course im talking without cassidy or hog.

but after a few more days of trying to duel moira im even more certain that she cannot be killed through her orb healing.

most people actions dont match their words here, im guessing the responses are going to be along the lines of “you shouldnt duel moira as genji, moira counters genji”, which isnt true to my experience and world to be clear.

if thats something you do then thats okay, but talking about discord specifially i feel its kind of overrated for personal use at least against non tanks.

for single target amps i would prefer mercy blue beam, at least you dont have to waste time making sure discord sticks to the enemy.

I thought we were talking about dueling Moira…like 1v1. And how to duel through her self-healing. How does Mercys blue beam come into play here?

I don’t really duel Moiras, she can fade and heal up… One of the characters that I keep tabs on in fights, but don’t go after often.
If Moira is getting pressured by my teammates, I help, but I just don’t care about chasing Moira around.

The last time I dueled a Moria? Lmao. All the time. I dont even need to look for one to duel with, bc a dumb hotshot Moria will always fade into me without fail. I give them the customary two tap for their troubles.

All the time, as widow and soldier main, it’s pretty easy for me. One shot as a widow and 30 accurate bullets as a soldier. I use the perk for self-healing and it helps me to feel the ground in situations like this.

I’m also good enough as Hanzo, Bastion and McCree, but it mostly depends lol

You are not the first. I don’t remember what the technique is called, but I can do fast flicks instead of tracking like I do when playing as a soldier. It’s not difficult for me. Sometimes, of course, I miss, but most of the time Moira isn’t a problem. I can do the same with Tracer, Sombra, Genji and others. It depends on my mood, sens and warming up before the matches.

When you do that for years, it’s not really something special, to be honest.

I can’t disagree with that. I don’t often see widows who use scope in close combat, but it does happen sometimes for sure.

I see there’s something interesting cooking here, so I need to get out lmao. Not my circus, not my monkeys.

While I would scope in for the headshot vs a Moira as Widow, I was implying Sojourn.
For whatever reason, I’ve had a lot of Moiras get up in my space lately when I’m playing Soj.
They make it really easy to build rail off them and then all I need to do it secure a well landed rail, and when they are practically in my esophagus, it’s hard to miss them.

I duel Moira’s all the time. They often think Zen is a sitting duck and will get the drop on me, only to get stomped while exhausting her kit (sometimes, but often enough). And Discord is certainly not overrated imo.

BTW, Moira is fine. She doesn’t need nerfs.
