When they say their listening,

Yup the dev’s are listening alright. We as the players have asked over and over for simple things. Like a map/mode vote feature. Not everyone likes playing flashpoint or push 5 matches in a row. Give us options to have a chance to avoid those. Nope, but here is $25 skin in the item shop.

I feel there is no hope for the future of this game. The company is going to fail with the direction they are going.

If it’s any consolation, they do listen, it’s just not a high priority

They need to start walking, they are still crawling around like a bunch of blind mice. If they don’t work to make the game decent, they better start polishing their resumes cause they will need different jobs.

How old is this game cuz let’s be honest this isn’t a new game. They been crawling for 7+ years, baby got some developmental issues

They’re the cable company from south park. They intentionally do the opposite of what’s good for the game, because they’re sadist.

i pray that the devs dont listen to forum dwellers every night

It is selective listening.

BUT HEY, PORCHE SKIN!
Cause that’s important!

If the devs didn’t listen with OW2 being one of the lowest rated games on Steam & several popular influencers switching games & it getting poor views across the board…

they’re never going to.

They’re going to run this cash cow into the ground and are self-sustaining via whales, people with poor impulse control, and the small % of fans who don’t see a problem with the current state of the game.

The blizzard I knew, perished when Activision bought them. The game company lost its soul to Activision.

I can remember “The before times” in WoW. When game devs, and game moderators were the most stand-up amazing people on earth to have at the helm of World of Warcraft.

Those people have left since Activision took over. The people here today seam to be 9-5 types and they are here to collect a paycheck, and have a job title of working at a Video game company for clout.

Not their fault. Activision’s track record (and Microsoft’s). PUNISHES innovation, creativity, and its employees. They want a person that sits in that office, does their assigned tasks, and keeps their mouth shut.

It shows here in Overwatch, and it especially shows in Microsoft. They have come out with the most “thoughtless” and 'bland" operating systems that have since to date surfaced. Windows XP, was cutting edge. Anything after it. Has been an absolute lack-of-commonsense joke.

Start menu, turned into a large button, to some small icon. Yup. thats a “sign” of a real “genius” right there folks. The most important feature of the operating system and 5 iterations later they still cannot get it right. Or scrolling menus, vs pop-out.

Same goes with this game. (Yes I can do a take on Microsoft because they own this game now). :stuck_out_tongue:

Where is the nerf Moira got? She is still super strong, always most kills and damage every game. They dont listenting to the feedback at all.

blizzgreed dont give to skwerts of you know what about you or anyones ideahs or opinions.

Do you have money? great! that’s all blizzard cares about don’t pay a penny more to this crappy company.

and yet…its still functioning, gaining more players every season

its not healthy to not think for yourself, who cares what ‘influencers’ say - thats not even a real job, literally going to a mechanic shop and asking for heart advice

I don’t know. I think it’s funny they say stuff like this, but they took the time to figure out how to monetize old mythic skins instead of focusing on all of the core issues that affect the game.

Yeah. It is funny. I mean I do get it because they have to make money but still. They have said they’re considering a map vote system but I feel like that’s more important than adding more avoid slots so :man_shrugging:

I’d 100% give them money to not have to play Flashpoint or Push anymore.

These new guys just have no idea how to prioritize things, and that’s really what’s killing me.

Tbf I think it is a massive change that would change a lot about how overwatch is played and have a lot of ramifications at least competitive. In quick play especially though? Why not.

You do understand that the devs follow what their supervisors ask them to do right? This isn’t blizzard of old where the devs were also the decision makers.

Well, I think we can all agree that comp and QP should be held to different standards. If you’re hardcore into comp, what map you play on shouldn’t matter. What should matter is showing off your technical skill.

Quick play is just for fun though. And if you can’t have fun on a certain map/mode, then why should it be forced onto you?

It’s why I push for the Assault maps to be brought back whenever it comes up in conversation. Give people more maps with a different game mode that most people (outside of the ones who play arcade) have probably never experienced.
