When the enemy runs 5 hard types of CC

What do you even do? I had a game just now against Roadhog, Sigma, Ana, McCree, Doomfist and Mercy.

It was one of the most gross and unsatisfying matches I ever played even though we won. I legit wanted to jump from my balcony on how frustrating that experience was. I guess we have to suffer until OW2 comes out.

This is why they’re reducing CC in OW2 :laughing:

I played a game the other day, I played Mei, the rest of my team was Cassidy, Roadhog, Sigma, Ana, Brig

Needless to say, the enemy did not have a good time

Yup theres no way in hell anyone will tank if it was kept in OW2. They F’ed up big time adding all this CC over time in this game. I understand its necessary for mobility but to this extent its way too much.

OW2 will be the other extreme with all the mobile heroes becoming untouchable.

Is CC necessary? It’s a nice bonus to have it.
Should many characters have it, making it possible to form a composition that can CC chain? No.

How you handle this conflict? So far Devs are reducing it to the Tank role.

It’s almost like they said 5 types of CC, not 6

What do you do? Stop trying to force whatever you’re playing and counter-pick when if it’s not working (and I say this as a ball/tracer main). I know it’s unsatisfying, but that’s the way it goes.

Sombra is also pretty filthy against sig/hog/doom. Escalate. Make them uninstall!

Then they have to fix mobility first then the CC; but no, in typical backwards fashion Through-The-Looking-Glass logic of “Badman” we will not touch hypermobility, trim CC then be amazed at reports divers are wrecking the backlines…

The game simply needs to be re-centered around Soldier: 76 as the base kit, not Tracer, then fix the hypermobility problems then and only then introduce minimal CC.

but dont you see thats the problem with fighting fire with fire? a game should not make people want to uninstall, the concept of taking away the enemies fun is horrible

Yes, I do see the problem with it. But that’s your only real option. They’re not going to remove CC from Overwatch 1.

This is why Orisa is my favorite tank.

CC immunity is such a wonderful thing. Wish they were keeping the shield for OW2, though. I LOVED being an anchor tank.

Welp, I used to play wrecking ball… So every single game I am shield bashed/hooked/flashed/rocked/slept/ and of course HACKED through walls.

What did I do? I now play pharah to avoid CC or I play CC myself just to get some revenge :slight_smile:

The problem isn’t the amount of cc, it’s the type. The prevalence of stuns is the problem. Stuns are effective against mobile characters, but twice as effective against low mobility characters. Changing stuns to cc with less impact to low mobility characters, like cripple (shuts down nonstandard movement), would go a long way to improving gameplay.
