Do you ever wonder how will blizz deal when Mauga and his double wielding fully automatic machine guns shoting hitscan bullets + a moving heavy main shield arrives to the game? They cant barely deal with their last 2 addtions to the tank roster…
also, I hope that Mauga has a flamethrowers too, how sick would that be?

Honestly I just wish they would give Main Tank players a reliable way to deal with pharmercy. Especially when your dps are Junkrat and Doomfist…

Well, he’ll be played in double barrier with Reinhardt and they will struggle and waffle and eventually nerf him into the dirt to save Reinhardt.

How do you know he has a shield?
you are aware that Sigma´s kit was originally Mauga´s but it got moved from him to sigma.
so its possible he may not have a shield at all

I hope Mauga brings diversity to the Tank roster, sure he might not be easy to Balance. But at least having a more DPS focused Tank would be good for the role.
Hopefully he doesn’t end up like Orisa.

I did a post a few time ago talking about what i wish his kit would be, and if that’s anything like that (hitscan+aggro massive shield) im pretty happy with it, specially if they give him a flamethrower too. I honestly just want a reliable long ranged hitscan that has some sort of shield to protect my team.

I’m not even sure if mauga is still confirmed or not tbh.
Simple. Have him do one or the other. Sigma and Orisa’s problem comes from the fact that they can hunker down and have access to their entire kits on top of having range.

I’d be fine with anything that doesnt create another double shield at this point.
Im just gonna call that it’s gonna be one of those heroes again which someone reee’s about how it wasnt the right tank & their kit doesnt fit for them or something else ridiculous like people complained with Sigma/Echo in here.
Are we even sure he’ll be added? Didn’t the devs say during the AMA that not all characters they write become heroes?
They not only hinted that he would come but they tried to create him already (sigma), so unless they simply given up (which i hardly think so) he should be a playable character sometime soon (ow2?)
He might, I just felt like the devs didn’t really want him in the game, he’s like a fusion of Roadhog and Reinhardt.

Hanzo had scatter arrow in the game, too. He still has it. It would be like showing Mauga with a barrier in the hero selection, but he doens’t have one in the game.
Also Mauga has gattlings. Sigma doesn’t.
He will shoot his barrier ressources…
