the most boring composition to play as and against is now the best composition to play. the only reason bunker isn’t ran on literally every defense is because of how boring it is to play. this sounds a lot like season 13 goats…
can we go back to the best composition in the game actually being fun to play? like dive meta? nowadays, you literally have 2 options: play the fun comp, or play the good comp. what great game balance!

sombra is the most broken hero in the game. that’s like nerfing dive by adding brig. and it still doesn’t counter the actual proper bunker comp that includes a zen as well.
what? bunker comp is literally being ran up in OWL, let alone in GM ranked.
Even at 3.4k people don’t know how to fight bunker comps sometimes. There is a lot more to fighting this comp then making sure you don’t hold mouse1 into a Bastion.
That’s funny, because as I recall, it was hated by enough of the community that they introduced a hero that BROKE THE GAME just to counter it.

Also confused how bunker is so prevalent and yet the bunker heroes have such low pick rates…
Probably about a year if it is meta. This game is all about stagnant metas.

Soon enough once bunker is gone you’ll be complaining about the next meta.
I have noticed that 4dps 1 healer 1 tank actually causes trouble for bunker. Because of smaller hitboxes and very split up enemies. Bastion can focus down 1 or 2 dps but not all 4.
But this is just something I recently noticed. Gotta have to observe it a bit longer.
You can counter Bunker with Bunker. No joke, it works. Just get bastion too. Even if they get 4 picks and you only get 1-2, you should win cause of spawn advantage.

And DragonStrike and Blizzard can do a lot of work on Bunkers.
Also icewall cancels the effects of immortality field. Just press E twice, and place it on top of the field.
You can’t speak those words without getting stoned by the masses here, no matter how true it may be.
Blizzard’s poor balancing efforts during season 10 are to blame, not the prevalence of dive. There were plenty of other ways they could have handled it. If anything, it speaks more poorly about the metas that came after dive.
“The best composition to play” This is a joke, right? It is not good. So counterable just by walking up to it with DM. It is one of the easiest to counter comps in the game. Please get your bronze nonsense out.

owl runs bunker on defense since it’s one of the few compositions that is decent against goats, and goats is basically the best comp in every situation
if “just walk into it and dm it lol” was a valid strategy the pros would’ve probably tried that given d.va’s in basically every game

This is false. Goats is a brawl comp. Bunker is a comp that is extremely easy to counter, but with the addition of Baptiste, and on specific maps like Paris where high ground is really prevalent early into the choke (Horizon is like this as well) where bunker is good. Those are the maps that Goats is weak on lol. Bunker is not a good comp at all.
