When is Ana actually going to get a nerf?

Careful, the Ana mafia is coming for you since if you dare mention she’s on both teams nearly 100% of the time it’s treason.

Yet still has middle tier winrate overall in plat.

Players forcing ana despite not being good with Ana since she’s a broken must pick would be the reason, her skill requirement is just a bit higher than average.

How about giving Ana competition?

Every time she does have “competition” it gets nerfed to the ground.

First off Zenyatta is easily weaker than Ana in all terms of self defense, in addition you are completely ignoring the fact that Ana has no range limitation to her healing like the other main healers, meaning she can heal from safer angles father away, and she also has a hitbox the size of a lamp which is a massive factor in survivability.

I am honestly sick of Ana mains heavily exaggerating her weaknesses and conveniently ignoring all of her strengths when saying she doesnt need a nerf.

The hero simply has an overloaded kit without clear weaknesses to exploit. Mercys weakness is she needs team mates to do anything, Moiras is deleting her orbs and the fact that healing is the only thing she offers, Baptiste has always been more vulnerable than Ana with less consistent self defense cooldowns, and the off supports all offer far weaker healing for some other utility.

Ana is slow but thats not really a problem when anyone who gets in your face is bursted with 60 damage and the strongest debuff in the game, and if she somehow messes that up she also has sleep dart.

the only nerf I accept is the duration of her anti heal that lasts way too long imo

Ofc it’s treason to point out a broken must pick hero for their mains. =p

But it’s entirely OK that players keep complaining about Moira and how OP moira is and that sort of thing and how she still needs so so so many nerfs.

Last time she had competition we had GOATS like hypersustain. Nothing died (see Bunker and Double barrier)
AOE was far too strong

Ana has had the same antiheal when she was F tier.

As for nano, ehhh I didn’t think the burst heal was necessary but I also don’t think the global ult nerfs were necessary.

It worked for Mercy
but that was different…
right?..

When was Ana f-tier?

Oh yea… when she couldn’t use her anti-nade to cripple everything on the enemy team because barrierspam was too much.

Ana is SS-tier now and she has anti-heal too. It didn’t take too long for that to happen when they nerfed it’s one remaining counter in immortality field. She’s just broken.

Ana being meta is fairly healthy for the game; it’s kind of like Reinhardt being the best Tank. Sure, they’re really good, but they’re counterable at anything other than the highest levels. But, when they do have a mirror match, its entertaining to play and watch, as the mirror match is really skillful. Not saying that’s an excuse for her to not get nerfed, she may need some tuning, but I don’t really want to see her get nerfed just due to how her presence in the meta affects the games health

Late S4/S5 dive had barrier spam? Hell, it continued waaay beyond that, it’s just that we’ll never know if it was just Mercy being a problem.

You cannot sanely justify any hero in an already limited role being a must pick as “being healthy”
You cannot

It only lasts 4 seconds. . .by comparison, Hack lasts 5, Bubble/DM lasts 2, and Immortality lasts 5

The answer would be to make Mercy a main heal again

Oh yea maybe gonna have to add that “dive heroes are pretty hard to anti-heal cuz they move too fast for aoe splash to hit em and aren’t stationary ground targets” to my argument.

That would be also the one only point in timeline where Ana was in a nerfed state. But that’s ages ago, now she has more broken toys in her kit and nothing to oppose her.

The difference is,
Biotic Grenade’s anti-heal is a death sentence in higher ranks.
never forget that

wait really

what game am I playing

I enjoy playing Ana a lot, but even I say that 'nade is a bit much. Not “ZOMG OP BROKEN!!!”. Just, a bit much. Landing it does a lot of damage in a decent area, prevents heals, and is a fairly quick cooldown considering that sort of impact. I often use it on evasive targets like Tracers (after baiting their recall, obviously), Reapers (again, after baiting Wrath form), Genji’s (when they’re busy trying to deflect and think they’re such hot **** for doing so). So, in terms of impact for punishing flankers, yes I feel it’s a little much.

I’d like to see just one change to the 'nade. 1: the anti-heal could be reduced to say 75 or 50% and still be very impactful. It’s still a pretty short cooldown for the damage, debuff, and area of effect it has.

Edit: if you want to argue for compensations for this, let her ult last one or two more seconds on target. That’d be a very nice tradeoff I think.
