When does the clownery with aimbotting kids on 20 level accounts get any treatment? If you cant make own technology - buy it from riot.

I’m assuming you are asking for Vanguard.

Which has been proven to not doing very good at anti cheat while presenting a massive security exploitation.

But from my own experiences, OW Anti Cheat is pretty decent. It is definitely not the meme that is VAC or flat out nonexistent as Bungie’s Anti Cheat.

also vanguard does do the job pretty well

Does a great job of being detected as malware. That is for sure.

I do play valorant so vanguard is on my computer, but they recently made it so that you can turn it off whenever

you do have to restart your pc to play valorant if you turned vanguard off though

Riot’s anti-cheat just straight up perma banned my buddy out of League. He had bunches of skins and all that and as you know in League you have to sink serious cash money into the game to get those.

One day we wanted to log in and his account was just permanently suspended, that’s it. He of course sent an email or whatever, there’s some feedback channel I think, or at least he looked up an address to customer support, and he tried contacting them. We started waiting, well, they still haven’t answered five years later. So much for the famous Riot anti-cheat.

And I’m sure they developed it further throughout the years but if a company just straight up does that, lets automated systems perma ban someone’s account with that much money sunken into it, without a warning, and literally for nothing, for a false positive then I don’t know what to say. We haven’t played too much League after that.

Bungie has one… but it is like a worse version of VAC.

Vanguard on the other hand, presented a security exploitation should someone managed to not cheat but hack directly into it. It is a kernel level AC that scan all of your activities when it is active, what happen to your data and machine if it got hacked?

So yeah, I don’t care how it may works (judging from the close beta, it doesn’t work as well as Riot claimed it does), it is not being installed on my PC. Same for Doom Eternal, which pretty much did the same for their AC (has since been removed though)
