I reached Gold 4 playing tank in Open Queue. Got bored and started playing dps only. Down to Silver 3 but game still are mostly forced losses. I get that i’m not as good as DPS as tank but when does it stop thinking I’m a higher rank? So many loses are reversals.
Adjusts every game. Win, goes up. Lose, goes down.
Forced losses aren’t a thing. You’re just soft throwing.

I think you have to lose about 10 in a row while also sandbagging a little bit (or a lot). Then it should stop putting you in the carry slot every game. As long as you keep putting up good numbers, even whilst losing, the MM is never going to show any mercy on you.

This one my supports were getting picked before almost every fight. I was playing Rein and diffing my counter who is also a currently bugged hero. I still managed to touch at 99, get 4 picks, but nobody else touched point so we c9’ed. Ngl I may get chat banned for this one as I did have some “colorful” language for my team at the end of this game.

This is one I managed to actually win. But not because I went 32-2 on Junkrat. That wasn’t enough apparently so I also had to c9 the payload to bring us over the finish line. The enemy Junkrat had 1 elim after the first round (because of a solo tire that got instantly rezzed) whilst I had 20 yet we still almost found a way to lose. Don’t believe the devs when they say they match roles with equal skill.

Yes I either playing well, or well enough to exploit the enemy having a bad game isn’t proof of anything other than those 2 things.
People got to stop playing a match and using it as “evidence” of mythical game systems. It’s the gaming equivalent of UFO sightings always being around drinking establishments… You’re just drunk.
You lost… Not really a “diff” that is it.
He could have just been baiting you in, knowing you were over extending while his team systematically picked yours off… To me, he’s played that smarter.
It’s the number of REVERSALS that I’m calling out. Game thinks I’m still Gold 4 while I play at a Silver 3 level as DPS.
They don’t really mean anything. Just marginal MMR differences in the teams (because you aren’t getting 2 teams of the perfect same MMR).
They’ve even said before, what they are called might be misleading.
