Well is this time again when we’re very close to the next hero, but I do not see anyone talking about it, so I thought to bring up the subject. So when do you think we’ll get our first tease, I believe that is likely for this to happen next week probably then hero 28 will available in the PTR for 2-3 weeks and at the end of june the hero will come to the live servers. Also what do you think this hero will be, I believe that we’ll get a new tank since blizzard always try to release heroes that are needed in the time, and rn I believe we need a new tank or an off tank, and regarding nationality I believe the hero will be greek because of the recent petra hints and because ilios is confirmed to be one of the most important locations in overwatch but we still don’t know why ( but I believe that is something huge hidden in the temple of the ruins)
Doomfist arrived on July 14th if I am correct? I can’t recall teases for him because at the time, we had Orisa, and Doomfist’s teases were with Orisa’s technically.
I am thinking we are getting teased already, what with so many possibilities so far, but I can’t put my finger on it.
I feel like people are dreading the new hero instead. After the release of Moira and Brigitte and a very vocal discontent, I think the team is being more careful with their hero releases.
To answer your question, players are asking for balance changes to multiple heroes and not a lot are super focused on the new hero.

Geez, my meory is bad xD Yeah, Doomfist technically didn’t have much “teases” aside from the fact we knew he fought Orisa from the Airport attack and the fact he was teased with Orisa and Efi’s lore, so yeah, his teases were kind of entangled with Orisa’s lore.

Officially I’d expect a tiny lore drop by end of month. Offhand I’d expect some forum post in the next couple weeks of “We have some cool ideas about Hero 28 and you’ll be surprised who it is”.
Oh lol. I believe she’ll become a playable hero but not now.
My reasoning is because I think a tank is coming next, and she obviously already has/had a voice actor selected for her.
The obvious answer for when we’ll start seeing Hero 28 teases is early July b/c of Doomfist’s release last year and Ana’s release the year prior. However, I’ve been thinking / hoping Hero 28 is coming super soon. Like, soon enough to join the PTR with new Symm and new HLC.
It’s possible that stuff hits the PTR later today, but at this point it’s just unlikely, so next week seems optimal now. That’ll probably be Tuesday or Thursday, meaning the days of hinting leading up to the reveal could start today or this weekend. Then 28 would join the PTR with the reworked Symm and HLC.
But I highly advise not getting your hopes up for something like that. Man it’d be cool, but it might be a little too wishful.
True but the reason I’m hesitant is because she’ll probably be a melee character and we just got one. Now regarding that she has already a voice over it doesn’t mean much (no offense) because do you remember back on February 2017 when there was all this greek hero theory, there was a guy called Alex malaos who recorded some greek lines but blizzard hasn’t used them yet my point is that yes junker Queen has a voice actress but that doesn’t necessarily means that we’ll get her as a playable characters soon op

heroes get released every 3 or 4 months or so so i bet the new hero would be released in about 3 or 2 months
Brigitte came out on February so 3-4 months have already passed. So I don’t think we’ll wait for another 3 months
