i bought the game on the 11th of November 2017 but didn’t really get into it until 7 or 8 months later (because of fortnite, played that wayyy too much around then)
The open beta for console. I do not recall when that was; however, it was only a few days before the official release. I actually played that sucker for 24 hours before I had to cut myself off and save some energy for release.
I have that amount of time in XDefiant after three weeks to put things into perspective.
I really love Overwatch…

Looked like TF2 but prettier and more varied.
Bought it on launch but only started playing seriously after RQ, so mid/late 2019?
On launch I just played a few days or maybe weeks and that was it.
Day 1 of OW1, still able to recall the dev nerfed Torb’s turret on the console version because peeps complained his turret is OP while we the PC users made fun of them telling them to “git gud”
I was pretty triggered because more PC players were crying about Torbjorn than console players, but it made us look whiny because they listed that as the reason for the change.

I started playing OW1 around June or July of 2020. First ever game I remember playing was as D.va on Hanamura and accidentally got multikills with D.va bomb. After that, I became a mercy main briefly and enjoyed the toxic comms in ranked chat. I wasn’t toxic but my teammates were though I didn’t mind it.
I then tried to become a tracer main, and spent like good 30 hours practicing landing pulse bombs on custom map. Only to realise that DPS queue time was unplayable in OCE region.
So I then became a support main, primarily maining ana and bap. But I also started maining tank as well primarily playing sigma and ball to climb.
I was just about to really get into tanking in OW1 in ranked, but then OW2 came out and I haven’t touched the tank role since. And I’ve just been primarily playing support and a bit of DPS.
